Notice I have said nothing about going to America. I pay a lot of insurance when I go.now. so I stay in England. My passport is due for renewal 2012 and my bus pass is due 2012 so I wont forget those renewal dates.

It was very foggy before I went to be last night. I knew it would be, because when we have fireworks we get fog days afterwards..
This morning I peeped out f rom the curtains to find all the cars had white frost on them. they looked like Christmas Decorations ( dedcorations that have been dipped in sparkling stuff..)
but I am warm in here nice central heating going and hot tea and toast what more can you want ?

I had a little bit of good news Rita - took my son to get his eyes tested and was told they're very healthy............one less thing to worry about.

I had to take him for his review as well and that was very strange. We had to go into a small room with no windows, but it was bright and colourful. The strange thing was that all the walls were plastered with photos of my son, I felt like I'd walked into a stalker's bedroom. Apparently it's some new idea to make him feel special while he's being reviewed. Seemed to work, he had a big grin on his face!!

Is there any good new about ? I was watching the TV news and it is nothing but doom and gloom. how depressing is that. ?
I thought we are doing a backward turn heading backwards to the Victorian times it is like being in a time machine forward and backwards,.

I had a letter today telling me I had my heating allowance cheque being sent to my bank within the next three weeks. also that husbands and wives will not always get their cheques at the same time. so I suppose our Queen and The Prince Regent will be up- set about that. two cheqes going to the palace at different times . I wonder if it goes to their own bank accounts.with their pensions.

I always send post cards to the guys in Afganistan I sent twenty last year while I was on holiday.In the June I sent ten I brought in London all views. I had some nice letters from their Co thanking me.

But I will send Lee a Calender he will be able to cross off the days till he is home again.


I looked out of my window just now and it is thick fog it really smells cold and you can smell the fog. I wonder if the person taking me tmorrow will turn up in this ?
