yes this is weired this change we have a time on the right hand side of the page. I think this will put people off the threads.
I had an email from my sister just now. she went to Westminster Abbey with her church they visited the shine of Edward last night and had a tour of the church . she missed seeing Kate Middlton who had gone there a little while before her church party went. It looks like they will get married in Westminster.

Linda I need to sit down and wipe my brow reading what is happening to you today. Lol
My sister had to take her car in for a service for winter she always has to pay for somthing or other but she did this week so she is a happy bunny she has been with this garage for over 30 years and wont go to anyone else.
I dont own a car I go on a ybus pass Lol get it ? I ride on a bus pass. I thought I made a funny there.? maybe not.

Pauline I went to post some parcels at the post office . the walk did me good woke me up. parcels to servicemen go free if they weigh 2 kg or under.but they have to be sent by 21st Novmeber otherwise they wont get them. I got her too weigh a Christmas cards as I brought two boxes from McMillian Nurses charity and they had a litte bit that stuck out on the front
and I didnt know if I would get a way with a normal stamp or have to pay for the larger on but she said no they are fine the ordinary stamp will be OK

Up later this morning. It is quite nice here too Rita.
We slept poorly too a fox was barking at about 3:00 and it always takes time to get back off.
Managed another christmas card last night, need to sort the overseas cards from British ones now. Than local walkable ones which I will take round with Little at the begining of December, before something takes a hand and they go too late to be appreciated.
Sky coming at lunchtime to install a new box = HD and + . A friend coming after lunch for a chat then other friends coming from London for dinner tonight with their daughter and grand daughter just a year old.
So busy today again.
Oh the car is a diaster!!! Needs a new fan and motor to run it £600 also bushes found worn in the back axle total cost around £1500 Oh and they have to order the parts so need to take it back when they are in. Hoping we don't suffer any more frosts for a week as hubby is leaving at 5:00 and hates to drive without heat in the car and to defrost the screen. Who'd have a car. Shoes are much cheaper !!! Thats why I walk so much eh?

I am enjoying my Tea and Toast while on here. I want to get things sorted so I can get the parcels to the PO and find other information out.
I also need to do some shopping for FOOD
I had a bad nights sleep I kept getting up and walking about then I lay thinking of things I needed to get from the shops. so I got up and made the list out and went back to bed with a cup of tea. in the end I lay there reading for two hours. I hate it when I dont sleep well.

iv been whating for some one to get back to me on a nother thread thay have a wedding photo and what to no if the register office is west ham register office and that is were i got married and i have other close family members that got married there as well
so maybe i can help them.

Thanks for that Rita, much appreciated. I dread going into our post office, it's so tiny,and is always cram packed. So the only time I use it, is to send my cards away.

I had seen the Jerry Springer WDYTYA before. He was born in Finchley, just up the road to me. I had heard of the gas vans. Apparently the outside was painted to look like people sitting on a coach. As the van trundled the roads, at a distance it just looked like people going on a coach-trip. I am not sure if they used cyanide gas or carbon monoxide. As the vans were emptied, the people inside were in a pyramid, climbing over each other to get to the top to escape the gas. I remember having a book entitled Auchwitz. It chronicled the concentration camps. Some of the stories were unbelieveable. Tattooed persons being skinned to make lampshades. Gold teeth being pulled, and the gold melted down. Hair being cut off the women, and used to stuff cushions. etc.

Mans inhumanity to man. Not the best subject to go to sleep on, sorry.

What barbarians they were, those poor people had no idea did they.
I am fed up of the t.v tonight, bloomin football again.
I have spent most of the day writing christmas cards out. Cor I have got writers cramp,and I am not even finished yet. I think I will have to do the rest over a few days. But I have done the ones that have got to go to NZ and OZ. Do you know what date they have got to be sent of by, by any chance.

To-day when I went to get my eyes done I tried to buy two" Birthday diarys"
I wanted two for friends who have been good to me when I have been ill and in doors they always ask if I need shopping.

I tried four book shops incluing Smiths. and not one of them stocked them, they all had the plain diarys but not these.Last year I saw them in a lot of shops I brought one for myself. but they seem to have gone off selling these.
