I am back on with no problem this morning I wonder if it will last. I found I could not get on line then when I did I tried again with no success. It is strange to see no names on the heading of people so lets put the name on the wrtie up at the bottom so we know who it is.

The sun is out and it is quiet warm here in Surrey. I have just collected my washing to take to our laundry here ,I want to get that out of the

Hope everyone is well and thinking of you Jean .not sure if you have your treatment today?
hope everyone is having nice weather and not freezing as some seem to be having. Maddie I cannot stand GaRLIC it makes me feel sick.

Tea or Coffee

Porridge, Cereals, Scrambled Eggs, Toast.

Morning all.

Dark and miserable out there this morning.

My teeth are sore this morning and my face is covered in blood. I had a weird dream I was flying in and out of folks houses and biting them in the neck. It was really weird.

Getting ready for another fine day at the office. Hopefully I will be home early today.

One huge consolation though......I don't get stuck in traffic jams.......gotta watch out for the sheep on these dark mornings. None of them wear lights.

We had more snow on the hill tops yesterday. With the mild temeratures just now it won't last long.

Hey, Ho It's off I go.

Have a good day ya all !

I've been locked out of the site, did none of you hear me knocking? I've been standing outside the thread that long I'm all wet and cold now.

I was supposed to tell you that Rita was locked out but I couldn't get in to tell you.

I'm going to bed now, I'm worn out with all that knocking.

Back home at last !

Busy day

Christmas Light switched on a 5pm exactly. Great atmosphere and good crowd.

Excellent evening at my daughters house. Fantastic tea.

Bathed the bairns and put them to bed. They love to hear a story before cuddling down.

Now pleasantly tired.

BUT......it's Full Moon tonight.....so watch your necks ladies....the Fangs are growing longer by the minute.

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH.

And NO I don't want a 'stake' for supper.

Credit where credit is due Dermot, thats my motto.
But as the saying goes, " It takes one to know one", as my dear Mama used to tell me,and she was once a very knowledgeable woman. Only the once though.

Mo in Kent - thanks for your kind understanding. I'd like to put a copy of your posting on the kitchen notice board so that her - who sometimes thinks otherwise - may read it, if she is in a good mood!

She hates self appreciation.

The same here Rita. Have tried for ages to get on here.

Maddie have you never tried saying,

I'm not a pheasant plucker,
I'm the pheasant pluckers son,
I'm busy plucking pheasants,
Till the pheasant plucker comes.

Very ,very ,fast. Surely you have heard it before.

Dermots not so strange really, it's us lot. LOL

Someone called me a pleasant pheasant plucker today. That’s ok but I’m no peasant.

Hi Pauline
It's on its way.
Hope you are well today everyone
I managed to fill two recycling bags with garden stuff, mainly bamboo and some shrubs like fuchias and spirea. It was cool but not cold and actually dry, but it never really brightened up all day. Getting dark already.
I did manage the kitchen floor too so hubby will be pleased as he has been working hard too.

Linda :o) XxX

I remember walking around in maxi dresses as well Maddie, I also remember wearing skirts so short I was afraid to bend over. I wore a mini for my first wedding, and knee length white boots, don't think I have any photos though............think I binned them all when I got divorced.

Linda, can I have a look at your photos as well please?

It's good to look at old photos, even though the clothes make us wonder what we were on at the time.

I actually went to discos with flowers in my hair and loads of beads around my neck.........and I didn't look out of place.

I loved wearing huge platforms, it felt great being tall.

Rita, I was 9 months old when you got married.

Stephen, that breakfast was lovely, I enjoyed the black pudding and the white pudding.............don't think I'll be hungry again till about 8pm.

Rita,

Ben Nevis is easy if you stay on the tourist path. Watch out for the cliffs on the North face though......high and very dangerous.

Ben Nevis..... from the Gaelic......The Hill of Heaven.

It looks out to Loch Hourn......from the Gaelic....The Loch of Hell

A wee bit useless information

Daylight has arrived..........off to do my wee chores.....catch you later.

Morning Stephen
I would like to see that Rabbit tattoos on your head. would it not be better to have Hares tattooed on in stead..? you will get all the blood hounds and their riders running after you. Lol

Thanks for the breakfast.must admit I am not eating too much today, I am putting on too much weigh. it must be my head is getting bigger. all this jaunting about on broomsticks etc.

I think I need to climb a few mountains Ben Nevis perhaps to lose some of the weight.
