Hello Mommy C. How kind of you to think of me.

Yes I got home tonight to an empty house. lol I thought it a bit odd when I was walking up the road, the house was in darkness. I usually ring the bell and Kevin sends the dog out to have a pee. But no dog, no nuffink.

No message on the answerphone, no note. It was like the Marie Celeste. So I made meself a cup of coffee and waited. Came in about half and hour later, he was helping someone in distress. Good old stick. Someone had a dripping tap, and didnt want it to go all night with the cold weather.

It is chilly tonight, the cars are getting a frost on them. I think the south will escape the next lot of snow.

Yes, Ann has gone from Strictly. I think it would have been a tragedy if she had been kept in, and one of the better dancers had gone. Dont think much of Gavin though, he will probably be the next to say bye bye.

I hope all goes well for Jean next week.

Shelly, blow your snotty nose and get better quick. Dripping everywhere.

Hope everyone else is warm and well.

I see Pauline and Stephen can expect more snow in the next few days. Good Luck.

COLD FETE !

Yes I did say FETE.

Glorious sunshine but freezing out today. The fete went well and was great fun.

Spoiled my wee grandaughters rotten.........Grandads can do that.

Back to their house for a nice tea.

Time for coffee and a relax now.

The hills turned a lovely shade of pink as the sun went down. Magic.

The sky is clear....... so out with the binoculars later.

Shelly...did you try the Malt Whisky cure ?

LOL Rita, we are both over 61,and would never dream of showing ourselves up like that Widdy woman does.
Besides, who told you I wear knickers lol It does get a bit drafty at times, thats why I have the bridget jones type of undies, they keep the cold out.

MO you are a scream I wish I had thought that one out they will be pickled by the time they come out.
Dormouse you were speaking about, she went into hospital about the same time as I was rushed in with a masive blood clot and they then told me I had cancer. she went in with a blood clot and they put her on Warfin like myself. she was on the board twice I think then said she didnt feel up to it that was the last time. we saw her on this thread.? that must have been two years ago,.last November. might be longer ? I wondered if she had changed her name.but I did see her name come up on another thread.
Pat our Marilyn travels the world she follows the sun if there is no sun she does not go there. .I think the only holiday she has not had is a treck through the dessert on a camel. lol or a visit to the Rain Forrest but she will only get shade there no sun. arrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Strickley on soon Mo please let that Ann go off tonight. I am fed up seeing her backside.61 and she is still showing her drawers off. Lol

Mommy, I have an old school friend who lives in Tenerife but she is over here looking after her Mum who has had a hip operation. She is loving the snow! She normally moans about the heat!
Don't worry I didn't take any offence.
Did you read about the eight day lock-in at a pub in Yorkshire. What sort of hibernation is that?

Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 5 Dec 2010 16:42

Hi again Pat. There used to be someone called Dormouse that posted, but I have not seen them posting for a while. No offence was meant in my asking.
I think we would all like to be able to hibernate, till the warmer weather.
Now our Marilyn, she's one lucky lady, she chases the sun around the world.
We are all hoping that Rita will let us read her memoirs, and those of her father one of these days. She's has some great experiences, and some very sad ones as well.

PatriciaAnn

PatriciaAnn Report 5 Dec 2010 16:36

Mommy, what It is I don't like going out in the cold! i'd love to hibernate but I think my office would take a very dim view of that.
If there's anyone called Dormouse on here. It's isn't me.
So Rita has written a book. Very impressed.

Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 5 Dec 2010 16:32

Pat, I hope you don't mind my asking, are you Dormouse, only the refences to Dormouse keep cropping up.
Our Rita is a clever ol stick, she has written her fathers memoirs as well, and got them published. Mo

PatriciaAnn Report 5 Dec 2010 16:21

Rita, I'm impressed by your Autobiography.
I was paying my full attention to Anne of The Thousand Days but it's som warm and cosy in my Dormouse nest that I dozed off!
