Linda your Dad's symptons are the same as mine 20 years ago. I had that trouble they could not find out why.? I lay down and sat up stood up sat down again it was like being a jack in the box. I felt as if I was going to
black out . My friend went to the village to get some shopping for me.and I blacked out . went out like a light she came back and I was laying on the floor I had knocked all the pot plants of the window sill and the floor was covered in soil she let herself in to the bungalow with her key and phoned my Doctor he came at once and took some blood they found I had Under Active Thyroids. .I was put on tablets 150 mg after two weeks I began to feel better.I am down to 100 mg now.
His symptons are so like mine was.

My son has just left he has been here since 10.30 brought my Christmas present around a DVD player and DVD recorder digital. I had not had the other one that long.he left here at 2. o'clock.
That is three present I have had already.
I have not opened the other two will do that Christmas.

The ladies usually get a Police escort home anyway....so we won't need the extras.

Weather OK out but overcast,so not very inspiring.
Dad will be kept in for observation over the weekend. They need to find out why his blood pressure plummets when he sits up and stands. It's fine when he lays down? Oh and did we know he has enphesyma(sp). Of course yes and asthma, caused by smoking(until 25 years ago) and his occupation as a painter and decorator. Rubbing down all that leaded paint and asbestos in artex and wood chip.
Think Mum will be with my sister again as nobody else can have her. Little point in her coming here as she wouldn't be able to go to hospital to see Dad or anyone else seeing her. It's about an hours drive. And as you all know I don't/ can't drive and no possible bus or train route.

Gutters.....when you get them repaired ask the chaps to put on additional support brackets. On plastic gutters the brackets should be every 20" or so.

Stephen if you're good a fixing things I've got some guttering that needs fixing/replacing, snow and ice have buckled it a bit.

Forgot to tell you we have an entrance initiation.

You must use a broomstick and have a quick fly round the country to visit us all. You will be offered loads of drink and most probably finish up going home just ever so slightly intoxicated.

Morning eveyone it is not so cold this morning. my sister phoned to say her daughter was coming down from Hertfordhire with the children today my sister will look after then while my neice goes into Town to do her Christmas shopping. I said I hope she stay well back from the marchers. they threaten to go back there today..
Maddie my sister as you know lives in Hampstead Garden Suburb she is not allowed to change her window she is in a consavation area.and any work she has done on her house(which is part of the original Hampstead Village )she has to get permission to have done. and it get very cold in there at times other times it is far too hot. she has high ceiling I am not sure how high they are? but there is a window high in the stairwell that you cannot even get too,.
Stephen I had an email from my cousin in Edinburgh this morning. he said thank goodness the snow is now begining to melt. he it appears has had it really bad. I told him you had , had your fair share of it as well.
I am going to have a cuppa now dont feel like breakfast, MY cold is better than it was but I am having trouble breathing I must smell like a chemist shop with Vic on my chest and obis oil on my hankie.

Reading back ....my mother used the sing that song to all of us and it was her favorite song and she used to do all the actions of crying and it made sound so real , all of us kids were sad instead of being happy at Christmas ....Oh Memories
