Evening one and all, whoever they are.
Had a busy day today and not much time for me! Hope you all had a nice day whatever you were doing.
Rita sounds like you need a hot toddy, I'm sure Stephen could part with a drop of whiskey for it.
Did a little on my tree (about half an hour) and found a missing ancestor. Its funny how sometimes I can spend hours looking without success and other times a quick search leads to something valuable. Have all but given up on Irish side for now, concentrating on Guernsey family who turn out to be from Somerset. No wonder I like cider!! Mind you I'm partial to a Guinness as well, I blame the genes.
((hugs)) for Rita,

Cath xx

'Strong language' is the euphemism used by radio & TV when they want to treat us to a bout of swearing.

When it happens outside this remit, the same words are referred to as being 'obscenities'. Thankfully not seen on this thread.

Oh, the vagaries of the English language.

I hope you feel better tomorrow Rita ((((((((HUGS ))))))))

Don't forget it's the results tonight on Strictly Rita, don't fall asleep before they come on. Two are to go tonight. Gavin should go, but not sure who else.

It's against my religious belief to 'work' on Sundays.

It appears that the Government does not want me work any other day of the week either. Never mind - I can live on fresh air.

Good Morning everyone.

Hope we are all well and warm.

I have been trying for 40 minutes to get onto this Site. Some gremlins are up early too it seems.

Work today, then finish putting up the Chrissy decorations. I do the stuff at ground level, and Kevin climbs ladders. Sounds ok to me. lol

See you all later.

Morning all, dry and dull here this morning but not too cold.
Stephen seems like you will be busy today but I'm sure your daughter will be keeping you supplied with tea/coffee and maybe a drop of 'Malt' while you work.
Linda my OH is always moaning about piles of books all over the house, but like you I find it hard to get rid of them.
I really must catch up with some housework before the tribe of children/grandchildren turn up expecting lunch.

Hello Truffilina. How choccy sounding you are.

No not bored. A bit overtired I grant you.

Stephen was gonna give me the low down on my two pet fancies of the moment, but he went and bottled it.

I thought he was a bit brave Scot, wearing a kilt and tossing cabers etc. but no, he ducked out at the last moment.

anyway, hope my little poems were of a smileable quality.

I gonna take my bat and ball now, and going off for a sulk.

Night night All.

Sweet dreams.

'walks off sulking, trailing my bat, muttering 'why did Stephen send a t shirt to Cath and not me' sobs.
