Oooh sorry Shelly. I knew you were poorly a little while ago, I thought you were still snotty.

I do get in at night and try and speed read what has been said during the day, but I guess I miss bits and pieces.

Stephen, lowering the tone again. lol

I do smile when you talk of your kilt. We used to have 'country dancing' on a Friday afternoon at Primary School. We used to dance reels, variations on Scottish dancing. We were in blocks of six, and most of us girls had the latest plaid pinafore dresses from MandS with a pleated skirt. We used to imagine we were part of the 'White Heather Club' [shown down South for a number of years] when we were whirling around.

Maddie,

Humpty Dumpty has more hair than me !

Could always let me trousers down instead !

People wouldn't get upset over a 'wee thing' like that.

Hello everyone.

Hope everyone is well and warm.

Dame Shelly, how are you. Where have you been.

Stephen, get your three out of the way, then have a blooming good Christmas and New Year. You deserve it. You seem to work very hard, and help your family a great deal. Let your hair down a bit.

I have been collared into working a few extra hours next week. I shall be crawling home on my hands and knees. lol

Everyone at work got a 'personalised' letter from the Managing Director over the weekend. A bog standard letter, but with each persons' Christian name on their own letter [does that make sense] saying what the Company was doing in the next couple of years. Just as long as we dont lose our bonus, I am not too fussed, I just wanna go asap. I reckon I have served my time. Committing murder I would have been out sooner.

Son got a stinker of a cold, coughing and sneezing. I have been sitting in a plastic bubble trying not to get in the range of the 'spray'.

Dog sitting at my feet, f@rting away. She has the cheek to look around her to see who has done it. Dontcha just love her. lol

On a 'brighter' subject.

There's to be a fantastic Meteor Shower tonight. And the sky is nice and clear.
Best seen between 10pm and 2am.

Sorry my Southern friends.....applicable mainly to Scotland.

Better get the 'BIG' Binoculars out tonight and give them a good clean.

Don't want to miss the show because of dirty lenses do I !

Troubles come in Threes !

Here's my No.2

A friends wife is going into Hospital on Thursday for a Kidney Biopsy and a Bone Scan and Bone Sample(?) . Things are not looking too good for her.
The family live in a wee village and Andrew has just finished digging them out from the last two weeks of snow.
He is concerned that when his wife is in Hospital they will be snowed in again and he wont be able to visit her
He has young children and needs to stay in the village for their school.
The forecast is not very good for later in the week.....more snow.

Sh*t ....will somone post a good joke or something.....I'm full of doom and gloom just now.

Evening to you all and a chilly one it is, just back from walking the dog and glad OH has to do the 'bedtime walk'.
Dermot it ceases to amaze me the speed some people drive at. I think when younger most of us probably broke a speed limit at some time but more modern cars are capable of reaching horrendous speeds now. I learnt to drive in an ancient Triumph Dolomite and was lucky if it reached the maximum speed limit on the island which is 35mph.

Hi Everyone.

Hospital all OK. Going to live it up a bit now ..LOL

Wow I have just been greedy ......I'm having left overs of my trifle from last night with cream that is forbidden......but nobody was watching..LOL

Pat ......I had Turkey & Chips & Pickle & Tomatoes ....now how lazy is that ?

We have just left my friends house and Pete was trying to get their grandson a insurance on line for his car, my goodness there are so many quotes all different prices but a vast amount of differences ....you would never believe .
But he got a good deal in the end....well as good as expected for an 18year old Soldier back from Afghanistan, so he's a very happy Soldier now he can drive away in his car , for the first time ... Pete gave him some sound advice on driving and told him he will probably get stopped in his first week !! cause he's young and a prime candidate for being stopped for drink driving as he does DRINK !!!!!!!

So god help him I hope he copes with his new toy.....that grandma bought him.

Mo enjoy your darts.......its getting colder out there so wrap up warm.

Hows our Rita tonight ???

Shelly Is that tree of yours all decorated now . any baubles on the floor for Olly to kick around ..LOL

Stephen......My goodness I have just watched the forecast in Scotland how are you managing ?

Stephen2009

Stephen2009 Report 13 Dec 2010 18:55

Thanks folks.........good to see your postings on my wee dilemma.

Gonna chew it over.....not for too long though.

Here's me thinking all my brothers and sisters had gone......when dad left a wee surprise for me.....ROFL

Gotta smile as well.......my dad was a good looking chap......he came from farming stock but the land the family owned was rich in coal......so my dad was a Mine Manager. The family owned mines up until the 1930s.

Dad obviously had farming in his blood and was sowing his wild oats eh !

Gonna have my tea just now....she who must be obeyed has called me to the table.

Well i'm darned, look peeps it's our Shelly. Hi there Dame how's you.
There was one thing I had forgotten to buy, and that was my Christmas Crackers, so I had to get them today. Everything else is bought apart from fresh veggies and fruit. Oh and sausage meat, but that I will buy from the butchers on Christmas eve.
We have to have the crackers, or the grandchildren will moan.

I am at darts tonight so you won't be hearing from me till tomorrow. Wish me luck folks. Luv Mo
