Rita, your wedding photo's are really lovely. You made a beautiful bride, and to be honest, you haven't changed a lot.

Great minds think alike Pauline.
You and Stephen had posted while I was still typing.

Mo in Kent Report 14 Dec 2010 19:27

Pauline it's sods law that both cards turned up at the same time. I can't believe the first one got through the way it did.
Just goes to show that the postal workers can get it right, bless them they must be rushed of their feet at this time of year. Plus they had the backlog of mail that could not be moved during the snow.

Stephen, what has your wife said about your surprise sibling. Obviously you would have both spoken about it.
My word your poor mum had her hands full with 12 of you.
I have visions of you all sharing beds,as the houses would not have been big enough to accommodate 14 of you comfortably. Unless of course you had a mansion, with servants.
My grandparents had 11 children, and lived in a two bedroomed house.
It amazes me, when we read of people in the papers, who are are asking for bigger living accommodation. It makes me wonder just how our forefathers coped. In truth, we are spoilt these days.

Good evening Pat and Cath.
Enjoy your football match Cath, try and find a warm corner to watch. You will need a drink after to warm the cockles of your heart.

I met my friends this morning for coffee as well Pat, but we sat outside so that those who smoke could enjoy their ciggies. Brrrr it was flipping freeeeezing out there, so we made it a quickie and went to our respective homes, in the warm again.

Someone I know, found out she had an older brother when she was 70. She knew she was adopted but was told her birth mother died giving birth to her and there'd been no other children.

What does Mrs Stephen think you should do?

Patricia,

I had seven brothers and four sisters, I'm the baby.

All are now gone, my last brother died in February this year.

The one that has popped up is a Christmas surprise left to me by my dad.

'Skeltons in a cupboard' eh.

Hi Pauline,

I'm still running the options and outcomes of any actions through my wee brain.
It's a lot to ponder about. Not only the feelings that I have but also those of my Wife, Son and Daughter.
I need to consider the feelings of my half sister and her family too.

Softl, softly catch the monkey.

Hi all.

I've been out most of the day and had company the rest of the time.

Got my tree up yesterday and quite a few of my cards written out, posted them today. No idea when you'll get them but they've gone .............to the ones I had addresses for.

I actually got post today, I was beginning to think the postman had forgotten where I lived.

Thank you for the lovely cards ... Linda, Marilyn, Jean, Rita and 2 off Mo.

Mo, the first one you sent finally found it's way here, I think the second one showed it the way.

Rita, I got the photos as well, they're great, don't know what you were worried about, you looked lovely.

I've put them on my lappy, so I'll send them on to everyone now.

I'll have a read of the thread later.

Edit: Stephen, have you decided what to do about your half-sister yet?

Edit again: I clicked on 'Edit' and added the above question, clicked on 'Submit' and it disappeared. Clicked on 'Edit' again and my post appeared twice ...... one with the question and one without it!!!

Evening all !

Mommy...if you need me to widen any doorways please give me loads of notice. If your head gets too big you will need bigger hats also.
Your Team must be good.

Well..... now have Mrs Stephens car back. My pockets a bit lighter now.
Had to upgrade the Boiler to burn Smokeless Fuel, that's even more expensive than normal coal. Don't want to get prosecuted for causing pollution. Really must investigate one of the Petrol type motors for her.

Rita....I wish that a bit of respite was on the cards for you.

Rather warm here just now.....3C.......but loads of Ice and hard packed snow still around. The deep Icy ruts are a real hazard to driving.

Catch you all later.

Mo thats good news you winning last night at darts I bet you felt pleased with yourselves.
.I dont own any wellies I did when I lived in norfolk two pairs one pair blue the other green but trying to pull a pair off after a walk across the dunes I pulled a ligimanet and screamed I thought I had, pain before but nothing like that. I ended up on crutches for 6 weeks no way will I put wellies on now unless their is a zip in the side.
This Dcotor Sarah is only young she had two children she was there when I signed on in 2003 the others are all older one lady doctor is in her late 60's the three males are all from 46 onwards but they are all like that.

I visited the surgery this morning for my blood test. but didnt go to see her about my cold but the recepionist Liz told her I had a bad cold and wasnt well. I was surprised when she phoned me . today all the others have phoned me at times when I have not been well. so I count myself lucky.

The Doctors I had in Norfolk were nice as well one use to call on his private patients and if he saw me pushing the mower he came and did it for me.I use to make hima a cup of tea. I was a NHS patient could never afford to go private.

Good afternoon all.

Ah Marilyn will you still be on line in Norfolk, I do hope so coz you will be sorely missed otherwise.
Don't worry love, I think we are all due some snow again, so you will not be alone.
Will you be meeting up with Liz for a coffee whilst you are up there.?

Rita, you are so lucky to have such a thoughtful doctor, theres not many of the old school left i'm afraid.
You would think that the cold spell that we have just gone through, would have killed most of the germs of.
But you probably caught it waiting for the bus that never arrived.

Maddie, whats this about you not already having any wellie gogs. My word
you are not up to date with fashion are you. They are the must have accessories these days.
I feel sure the girls will all tell you, they have all got the most up to date colours in this particular footwear. Mine are green with yellow spots on them. They are a simply must have item. LOL

Well we won at darts last night 4-2 and 3-0, how good is that, ( Mo's head starts to swell ).
