Hello to all,
Hope you are all feeling well this morning.
Jean foals names are lovely.
Have to go and visit my mother today as it is her birthday and then I have to pack my bag in readiness for my escape on Wednesday. I hope this wind dies down a bit before then.
OH was up early and started taking out old boiler (not me) so he can crack on and get new one installed when we get back. It will be great to have heating again, been very chilly in this old house over Christmas. Better go and make him a hot drink, just looked out of window and he looks frozen, bless him.
Back later,

Cath xx

(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?

Tea or Coffee

Porridge or Cereals. Scrambled eggs and Toast.

Morning all.

Just a nice light breakfast after all the food over the last couple of days.

OK! Own up......Who sent the SNOW back up here ?

I'll need to get shovelling straight away this morning. What a nuisance.

I had nice black tarmac and patches of grass showing last night. All gone.

Should have checked the forecast......I could have had the snow cleared before it landed. ROFL

Catch you all later.

Stay safe.....stay warm.

Hi everyone, have you all been relaxing today? Just been enjoying all your threads about your Christmas day, sounds like you all had a great day.
Have decided to call the foals Holly and Mistletoe, they are both fillies, different Mums, and I have another one due this weekend.
Rita, am glad your family managed to get to see you, it must have put their minds at rest to see you, they must have been worried that you didn't feel well enough to go to them.
Cath, I hope you enjoy your break. will be nice for you to have a rest after all your cooking.
Mo, have you enjoyed your Christmas? hope you did, and have had a relaxing day today.
Take care and stay safe everyone.

Marilyn, how many glasses of the red stuff have you drunk love. It's Jean that has the new foals, not Yvonne. LOL
Have a safe journey tomorrow, but take care it's very icy everywhere still.
Who will be doing the driving, you or Pete.

GRMarilyn Report 26 Dec 2010 19:34

Hi All,

Dermot you are quite right too many families think its too much trouble to think about their love ones at this time of the year.

I'm going home tomorrow.....now that is something I'm looking forward to as I have
ate too much and need to loose some weight big time ..

I didn't get to meet Liz this time as my time was taken up with the hospital..
I'm sure Luz will read this and see why I didn't contact her.

Cath enjoy yourself on your break away....you deserve it.

Maddie that colour Greige by Channel I wouldn't put anywhere near my nails , Its horrible looks like a dead persons body just collected from the from the morgue !!
A soft silver beige colour looks great on toes in the winter.

Jean hows them foals ? have you given them your chosen names yet ?

I'm sitting down by the fire place with Lappy on my lap ,and a glass of red. how good is that ...?

A quick peek in the underwear drawer, or a look on the washing line might give a clue.

Pretty stuff though. Not the dreaded red and black scratchy, tarty, slutty stuff.

Luckily me bloke has a bit more taste. lol

Dermot

Dermot Report 26 Dec 2010 19:05

Rita - be thankful for having such a caring family. There is another thread elsewhere describing the total opposite.

By the way, how did they know your underwear size? A recent survey mentioned on the radio that many husbands have no idea of their partner's 'measurements' or maybe they were just not confident in getting it right!

I am looking forward to getting out in a couple of days. I get a bit of cabin fever if I dont go out every day. I always have a doss around HMV. I do like my music. I want Amy Winegum to bring out a new album, I do like her voice.

I bought Kevin an Alan Partridge box set, so he will be chuckling his way through that. I dont find it all that funny, but it is smileable. I got some 5th Avenue perfume, so that will keep me going for a while.

I usually buy the new Jean Paul Gautier in the basque bottles. They bring a new one out every 6 months. I have them lined up on my chest of drawers. All pretty little bodies in suspenders and basques. Fifi Trixibelle.

Rita it is pointless telling your family not to buy for you. They love you, so they buy for you. Tell yourself you are worth it. Cos you are.
