Our Chemists was open today Rita, so I suppose thats a start to getting back to normality. You naughty thing, fancy not having had a drink from 10 this morning. You will dehydrate yourself if your not careful. (Mo slaps Rita's wrist for her)
Got to go start to prepare dinner now, Roast Lamb, roast spuds, sprouts, carrots, peas and mint sauce, yummy. See ya tonight.

Hi Mo I was just going to log off and rechecked to see if Pauline had appeared. ? Our snow had vanished we have had rain and it has been warmer today. well we still have little. two little piles on the car park.but that was because a car had parked over it. It is getting misty outside. . I have just eaten about 6 little cherry brandy liqures I didnt mean too. my new year promise to myself is to watch what I eat/ and lose some weight. still. I have a few days to go before that starts.
Perhaps the postman will come tomorrow ? Out Chemist has been closed since Christmas Eve no idea why. ?unless they are all down with the flu bug. ?
I thinik I will make myself a cup of tea . I had one this morning at 10 and not drank since then. I am losing more and more letters off this keyboard I will have to take a trip into town and buy a new keyboard.

Linda was saying yesterday, that they were supposed to be going to West London today, depending on how the family were health wise. Her OH is of work for three days as well. Thank goodness, I thought I was going completely doo lally, and imagining things.
I wonder how poor Maddie is getting on back at work today. I still think she should have taken the rest of the week of sick, as she was not at all well over the xmas period.

Hello folks. Didn't Linda say she was going away for a couple of days with her OH, to visit family. Oooh I must go back on the thread and check in a minute. But Pauline is still absent, I do hope everything is o.k in her house.
Yvonne, you chose the best time to come to come down to Kent. This morning the rain had cleared nearly all the snow away. But we have still got a pile on the drive, where we cleared a path for us to get the car in and out.
Rita we have still not had any mail either. I know Roly is expecting some birthday cards to arrive, and also we have not received two cards, that I know were sent in plenty of time from OZ. Don't forget it was our Shelly who started the flu germs originally, so don't fret yourself love.
Jean, I do hope that the little colt will be o.k. It's had such a bad start to life hasn't it.
Just going to go and check about Linda.

Afternoon everyone
Phew took ages to go through the posts I had missed
We had a quiet Christmas Day, we went out for a meal, it was very nice and I was stuffed ( pardon the expression) OH took his dad home that afternoon cos he doesn't like to stay out for long. We went to Kent yesterday to see my brother and sisters
All the snow has gonr now but it's very foggy and damp
Jean lovely to hear about your foals, sad about the colt, hope he pulls through. Do you breed them to sell on? Are they thoroughbreds?
Stephen your jokes were very good lol Marilyn I got the photos, ther're lovely, I lked the one with your children, the big hair-do was fantastic. When I was a kid one of my cousins who was a lot older then me had hair like that, this was in the 60's

The phone has not stopped ring here this morning....its like the old telephone exchange.

Good \Morning all ? I have been up for a while but had some little jobs that needed doing so did them first. I have also peeled a lot of veg ready for my stew. meat to add. I brought a stew pack yesterday it had five carrots.1 Parsnip1 Leek1 Onion and a turnip cost me 89 pence..so I am making some stew I will have it today and the rest I will freeze. Jean I am sorry the colt isnt well. I will say a litle pray for him. poor little chap. Catherine hope you have a good journey,The first time I went to France I felt sick I wasnt. but nearly all my scouts were . one of the stablizers on the Ferry had broken and it was a bit naughty.the captain said he was sorry. but it didnt help my scouts.
I am sure you wont have that trouble.your have a smooth sail.I always make for the top deck when I go on the Ferry it isnt to bad there and you can get out and enjoy the fresh air.
Maddie you should stay at Home your get better quicker and you wont pass your germs around.you can tuck youself in bed with a good book.
Morning Pat. it is take it easy day.so enjoy while you can Lol,.
I always wanted Nanny Goats. when we have been out and about in Norfolk I always made for the Horses and the Nanny Goats. my Husband always like then as well. Green Grass Stephen that means your have to push the lawn mower soon to cut the grass.better covered where you dont see it.
Morning Marilyn dont lay in the bath and get crinkles I wonder where Pauline is ? I hope she is alright. ? Shelly is missing as well as Mo and Yvonne Sue .

Morning my Lovelies,
Jean what a super duper breckies .... Thank you.
Its really warm today so I might go for a walk on the beach , got me Hunter wellies and off I might go .
I have just risen so I need my Hot bath first to bring me around a bit more !!
Catherine.....I know what you mean about animals knowing you are going to leave them , my brother had a dog that went to a named Kennels and he had to spell the name ....word for word .....rather than say it as the dog knew the name of the kennels , it would howl all the way to the kennels just like a child..LOL I'm sure they can see the cases being packed as my cat certainly did.
Stephen there is no snow here in Plymouth its all gone whooosed away....
Hi Maddie......Oh dear that cold of yours you should have left it in the shop over the Christmas period would have been dead by now. LOL
Off for now ....back later.

Hi Pat, Maddie and Stephen, hope you are well, oh dear Maddie, you dont sound too good, take care and stay warm. Cath, donkeys are sweet creatures, [well most of the time lol] but they can be very noisy, so if you have neighbours close by I wouldn't recomend a donkey. My 2 babies are absolutely fine, but at 4 this morning 2 became 3, a little colt, but unfortunately he isn't very well, vet just been and told me not to get too attached, next 24 hours touch and go. Stephen, bet you are enjoying the slight rise in temperatures, dont go sitting in the garden, if it snows again we may not be able to find you.
Take care everyone, and stay safe Jean xx

Morning all,
Catherine.....a wee song springs to mind....... 'We are Sailing'.
Hope you have a smooth crossing.....tell the Skipper to watch out for the Minkies.
A grand breakfast Jean....just what I needed.
Found out this morning that Grass is GREEN....it's so long since I have seen such an amount of green in my gardens. Still loads of snow and ice around though to make walking difficult. It's a balmy 2C just now.
Have a good day ya all.
Catch you later.

Morning Pat, Jean I love animals and hate leaving them behind. My OH is glad we only have a tiny garden as he knows if we had more room I would fill it with animals. I've always wanted a donkey for some reason, they just have such sweet faces I can't resist. How are your new 'babies'.
Cath xx
