I'll be listening to the Archers at 7pm. My sister is an Archers fan but it's the special episode marking 60 years. Then I'll be watching Miss Marple at 9pm.

Hi Pat Mo and Rita
My decorations will probably be down tomorrow before little M comes back, then I won't have to worry.

Rita I can't find anything about when the barn was built but I know it wasn't there when we took one of the minded children to see the animals, no soft play in those days.

I know it's not 20 years ago, I guess about 10 years ago. But time goes so fast.

I think with me it's a bit of laziness in taking down the cards!

Pat, the darts on the t.v, is played on a treble board, but in the league I play in, we play on a double board, it's harder than a treble board.
We don't have the option of the trebles on our boards, and the board itself is just plain black, not black, green and red,as in a treble board.

Rita, I have taken my Christmas decorations down today as well. I know it's supposed to be unlucky, but even when I left them up for the correct amount of time, my luck didn't get any better.
I just felt I needed to get everywhere clean, and the decs are nothing but dust collectors at the best of times.
I do love them when they first go up, but I get fed up of them after a while.

Hi Rita
It's just down the road from me !!!
Taken over last year(2010) and now known by Jakes.
Used to be a fishing complex with lots of lakes and a small but very run down animal park. Then as you said a barn was built for indoor play and named Little Angels

web site: http://www.blackwater-valley.org.uk/trilakes.htm

Hope this helps.

Dermot,
Your saying about putiing a cat in a bag reminds me when I had to take my cat to the vets and I had to put her in the cat basket. Her little legs would come out straight! It was a battle. Anyway Thomasina is in kitty heaven now.
Mo I tried playing darts once. It isn't easy as it looks is it?

Hi everyone

I am now back to normal. I know you all are as I have read all the back log.
Thank you Pauline Mike will be pleased of your thoughts he need all the lighted candles he can get,. He just wants it over with now. He will not have Chemo Pauline they dont give people with Kidney cancer Chemo. that was why I had different treatment.
anyway getting away for the sad part.
does anyone know this question I am trying to find out about Little Angel in Tri Lakes Country park they built a barn there (as it is called )years ago and I am trying to find out when.they built it. I ca find nothing on the internet.
It not far from .Black Bush airport is nearby.

I have taken my Christmas tree down it was only a little one. but by the time I had taken the tinsels and the buarbles and trinkets .i felt tired.
then came the cards over 60 of them. seems a shame to have to recycle them. I use to give them to a childrens play group in Norfolk but they dont have one around here.they use to make pictures of them or put into a scrap book even make calendars.

The room looks bare now after all the decorations.

A pear tree cannot grow apples.

And finally, it's much easier to let the cat out of the bag than put it back in.

Cooeee is it safe to come into the madhouse yet.?...........
Slap, slap, Stephen, fancy hiding Marilyns cases. Did you find the one that holds the credit cards, ....I have Petes permission for you to cut the cards up, so Maz can't have another spending spree when they are away.

Marilyn, we have been up the club this lunch time, playing darts, and yep, we are now watching the darts from Lakeside.
Roly had a few pints, and has eaten his dinner. He normally falls asleep after his dinner on a Sunday, but miracle of miracles, he's still wide awake. I think I will have to get some DVD's of darts matches, and then perhaps he will stay awake more often. LOL

Hi all.

Rita, I'm so sorry to hear about your son, it's terrible news. I'll light a candle for him and pray that the operation will be a success. He'll probably get chemo after the operation, but his treatment should be finished by the time his daughter gets married. Hopefully he'll be well again by then.
