Oooh look Pat we are on page 1,000. Midsomer is the only place I know, where they have so many murders. I am surprised that any one would want to buy a house in the area surrounding it, for fear of being murdered. LOL

Present and correct SIR.
We found out today, our first great grandchild is going to be a baby girl. The grandchild due this month, is also a baby girl. That will give us ten girls, and three boys to buy for at Christmas this year. Oh joy.

Stephen trust me to get it wrong I knew it was the Forth Bridge. my cousin (Freddies sister ) said he use to say I am nearly home when they were painting it, by the time they got home they had to go back and start at the beging. I said it must be a boring job ? he said you get use to it and at least he could go at his own pace. Mo it is not intended to be spring cleaning I have a small kitchen and lots cupboards in my Hall so I cleared the middles shelf which has all my bone china dinner,/ tea set and puit it on the top shelf. then the top self things i had put on the third shelf I moved the china and glass things from the kichen cupboard into the hall cupboard. I bet I have confused you now I have not finished it all yet if I keep at it I should finish it in four days. I found two boxes in the back of the cupboard wondered what it was. it was a set of metal bowles all sizes the other one was all my cake icing decorating things uncluding things like wedding cake pillars and wedding cake decorations I have some China dolls heads you use on crinoline cakes. you bake the cakes in a round cake tin or bowl and put the doll in the middle of the cake after it has been cooked then you ice the cake on the outside and then do frills.up the cake. I dont think they do these now.? I was shattered when I finshed. lol Shelly have you still got those sticky sweets in your pocket ? they will have all bits of fluff on. I think you had better give your sewing to our Linda she is always sewing.Pauline
time for tea.

Afternoon everyone.
Maddie.......have a laugh at this.
An Irish friend of my daughter was on holiday in South America. As he was crossing a border from one country to another the Customs chap asked him 'What is your business in ?' The bold boy Nick replied 'I'm here for the 'Craick', pronounced 'Crack'.. They promptly locked him up. It took a lot of persuasion from a Consulate Official before they released him. He didn't say that again.
Rita.....Constant painting.....That was on the Forth RAIL Bridge. They are currently coating it with a paint that will last ten years.
Jean........That's great news. Home to your own hearth. Nothing to beat it.
Marlyn.....Get well soon. Don't feel too down in the mouth.
Speedy recovery to all others still under the weather ( in more ways than one)
Time for coffee and a relax.
Catch you later.

Stay cool calm and collected Jean, and you will be able to say bye bye to Doctor doom and gloom,on Friday. This is excellent news, home in time for the weekend.
Pauline, Rita puts us all to shame with this spring cleaning. My window cleaner came yesterday, and now the insides look filthy, and so do the nets, so that must be the first thing on my agenda. Unless Rita wants to come and do them for me,(hint hint Rita).

Spring cleaning already Rita? You put me to shame.
I've been busy today, but not with cleaning. I've done the ironing and I'm doing all the repair jobs that's been mounting up.......... like sewing buttons on and sewing hems up. I planed on making drapes but haven't started that yet. I keep putting it off by finding something easier to do.
Stephen, I liked the cosmetic surgery joke...........LOL
Marilyn, how will you manage without alcohol? If you drink enough of it, it'll take the pain away!!
Nice to see a few of you are feeling a bit better now, especially Jean who's desperate to get back home. Keeping my fingers crossed for you Jean............ although it makes the typing a tad difficult.
Maddie if you cross your fingers it might slow your typing down a bit and bring you down to my speed........... well, a bit nearer my speed.
Dermot, I liked your comment on the Beckham thread, well worthy of a big AAHHH!!

Well done Jean.....good news.
I have just got back from the dentist !!! I bit on a Olive Stone and pushed my crown up a bit too far .....was not laughing at the time as I have been in agony ever since. But Xray showed no damaged other than inflammation of the gums hence nerves all playing up !! but got tablets .....so all sorted .
No alcohol for 48hrs....oh what am i going to do ???????
Every time I go on lappy I get disturbed by other guests asking if the signals are working in hotel and these people are getting on my nerves because I cant concentrate on what I'm saying ......so now i'm flipping well going to put Lappy away.

Stephen Morning to you, they could paint the sheep and cows a bright orange so you could see them in the dark.?
That Bridge you go over The Forth Road Bridge My cousin Freddy who lives in Glasgow use to paint that. he told me by the time they had gone across it painting it , it was time to go back again he retired years ago he muist be about 76 now, he did that for years but it took its toll on him as he had to retire early
Maddie have you been to the museum at Canary Wharf ? Sheila and I go on the little train but the esclator is always breaking down and we have to walk up the stairs to get on the train I get lost so I have to rely on her , she know so much about London I go places I didnt know exsisted.
My daughter had her office in Canary Wharf she has one also near Heathrow Airport.
Pat so your off to work again this morning poor you still you seem to be getting better, getting rid of the flu bug.

Good morning, all, hope you are all well and warm.
Well that was a little disappointing Stephen. I was saying how we were all missing you, and then you intimate you think I am a crack head. Charming.
Very dark here, persisting down with rain, but will it stop me going out? I think not. Going to Canary Wharf today. Gotta interview with a Banker to talk about investments etc. Failing that .................... there is a big shopping centre and an offshoot of the Museum of London, that has artefacts from the Titanic on show. Should be good.
Must remember my gamp.
See you later.

()_?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Tea or Coffee
Porridge or Cereals, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon Rolls.
Morning all !
Another day another 50p. (I don't get paid $s)
More snow last night, not a lot though, just enough to nead a wee shovel to clear it.
It's actually raining a bit just now so that will help shift the snow. The temperature is at 1C so hopefully it will go up a bit to prevent freezing.
Heading off soon to join the folk that head into Edinburgh to start work at 9am. Usually there is a long tail back of about 20 mins to cross the Forth Road Bridge. We folk that live in the sticks are not used to that......my normal 'traffic jam' is caused by the sheep or cows on the road.
I have written to my MP and asked that a Law be passed for all Sheep and Cows to be fitted with lights in Winter and also trained to use the road properly. He has not replied as yet, Probably won't take it seriously.
Have a good day ya all !
Keep well. Keep Safe. Keep Smiling.
