Good news about Mike, Rita, bad news about your toothache. I blame Marilyn for your toothache, she's the one that started that trend of. The same as Shelly started us all with that cold/flu virus. LOL
I wonder if Jean is composing her piece for the writers thread. I did read that she was thinking of joining it.

This one is for Shelly and her grave stones
found in the church year list of 1770's
burials". A Vagrant " " A Poor Women from Ireland " " A Stranger "
" The Cobblers wife from Kilburn "
I have found these in my researching Willesden for St Marys Church.I wonder how many more there are like this.?
Another funny thing was searching the 1545 Sanctus bells of St Marys they were arguing what the inscription was inside the bells it was in Latin.. they use to meet in a pub for the meetings so they could have a drink the pub was named The five Bells when they added another bell to St Marys in the Tower they renamed the Pub "The Six Bells " I thought this was so funny. just shows you what you can find if you have the time.
I finished all my washing it is all dry and out away now. I looked in on thread and will noe get my dinner ready. be back later.

Right, I'll start again, but not typing the whole thing out again.
Stephen, I think you'll look very fetching with an eye patch and wooden leg, you could change your board name to Stephen Silver.
Maddie, if you ever try that Bum Butter on your face........... let me know if it works.
Marilyn, your meal sounded fabulous........ but I didn't like the sound of Shelly's toast.
Pat, I'm pleased you Googled Body Butter, I'd hate to think you put it on your bread.
Now we know why there was a short supply of WD40........ Mo's been drinking it.
Linda, you could have just pushed the extra party food down the cyber hatch, we would have finished it off for you. Poor Shelly had to make do with burnt toast with no butter on.
Rita, hope Mike gets home today.
It's blowing a gale here, wonder if I dare put the washing on the line, it might blow away.
Edit: By the way............. I think you're all mad on this thread, I was laughing out loud reading all your posts. Gave me a good start to a Monday morning.

Morning all Windy here too. Been out twice to pick up the recycling as they were late collecting it. At least it has gone now. Only the bottles to get rid of down to the bottle bank then the party afters will all be gone. Hubby picked up other peoples rubbish and saved that blowing around too. Little M is on antibiotics AGAIN. But Daddy is off to Rome for a week so I guess I'll be having her all week. House looks tidy thanks to putting away loads of stuff before the weekend. Just don't open any cupboards.
Have a good day all

Morning to all, grey and overcast here and we're in for some heavy rain later. Not too busy today so might get some research done (while little ones have their nap), if I dont fall asleep !!
Shelly that toast didnt sound very tasty, lol. If my son offered to make me something I'd want to know what he was after. Marilyns meal sounded delicious didnt it.
Rita I hope Mike is home today, fingers crossed.
Hope everyone has a good day,
Cath xx

Evening everyone Well yesterday was fun in the end, though hard work getting it all ready. Son really did seem surprised though I guess he thought something was happening, if not a party with friends and family, The food was very good a mix of home prepared, sandwiches from friends and M&S party food. Took a bit of cooking but most of it was eaten. Had bacon and eggs this morning with mushrooms for 5, son & wife, hubby and me and FIL. Hubby & FIL took sons dog for an hours walk after. Son took FIL back to his flat, then he came back here and we had a scratch lunch of left over bits. I packed hubby a lunch box and sent a tea home with FIL. Not much left now. Had a salad tea myself. Put vacuum around since everyone went home. Been trying to do some research, but can't seem to get anywhere at the moment. Looking for family in India and a family member who got an MBE? Hope you all sleep well. Hubby on last day tomorrow, home around midnight and then 3 days off.
