Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 23 Feb 2011 19:58

Pauline, I had Lilly today. I took her into where I used to work, to see my old collegues(sp).
It took me ages before I could leave the store, they all fell in love with her.
I must get them to send me some more recent photo's so that I can let you all see her now.

I also bought nine christmas present today. The pharmacy where I used to work, had reduced lots of things down in price. So much so, that if you bought one item, you got two free.
So I got six Do*e gift sets for the girls, and three Niv*a sets for the boys, all for under £20.00.
I'm really pleased that I took Lilly in there today, she must be my lucky mascot.

Linda you lucky thing, going away from all this dreadful weather. I hope and pray that you both dont catch little ones cold, thats all you would need whilst you are away.

Jeniwren Report 23 Feb 2011 19:49

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good day.
Pauline I only have 2 grandchildren, my daughter has 1 son, age 23 and my son has a daughter 1 on March 10th. my horses keep me busier than the kids. but not for much longer,
Would anyone like a glass of wine, or a whisky or brandy.

It has been cold and damp here all day, so haven't left the house, but have to go out tomorrow no matter what the weather.

Wishing you all a peaceful night.
Take care and stay safe.
Jeniwren xx

Maddie, I think you've just described every team!!

You got that spot on Dermot, put me down for one of those men as well. I'll get in the queue behind Pat, Rita and Marilyn.

Although Rita might not need one if Stephen finds her four 20 year old men.

Linda, that little girl seems to have a problem with her immune system, poor little thing is always ill.

Mo, I've been out today, I've been doing the same as Cath and Yvonne............. shopping with the kids. I'm taking them out tomorrow and they're taking me out on Friday.

Shelly will be busy with the kids as well.

Don't know how many grandchildren Jean has but she must be busy with them as well.

Stephen thats a good idea 2 at 40 or 4 at 20 but we would not have a bed big enough. Lol
Linda it is a miserable wet day I know I have the same here. where has all that sunshine gone long time no see.

Mo I dont think they would hide here from you . there isnt that much room it is a tiny flat even with two bedrooms no place to hide. I always had houses with big rooms I never thought I would settle here the size of the rooms but being there is only me I have ample room

Evening everyone
Well I'm off duty now til Monday Yippeee it has been a long week. Little M is full of cold AGAIN. Runny nose and coughing her head off. Hubby is avoiding her as much as is possible in the car( very hard) and indoors, luckily he is at work from lunchtimes.
Really looking forward to our holiday next weeek. I only have her Monday and Tuesday. Then off to find some sunshine, please.
It has been miserable here today. Raining in the night, damp when I got up, raining when I went to the shops and no chance of going for a walk this afternoon with the buggy. I need to be well for next week.
Hope you all have a peaceful evening..................... anything any good on TV tonight?

Linda :o) XxX

MO,

There's loads of folk very glad the mould was broken.

I have heard that I was so ugly when I was born that the Doctor slapped my mother instead of my bum.

Marilyn, you HAVE got a man like Dermots description, bless him, your Pete is lovely.

Stephen when god made you he broke the mould, and we will never find the same model again, and thats such a shame.

Oh Yvonne, once again you have been to Kent, and I missed you. Never mind, Maddie, Jean(god willing) and myself will meet you nexxt month.

Marilyn, now you come to mention it, Shelly is on the missing list. And also did I miss Jean posting the breakfast this morning, and where is Linda +Pauline today as well
Well, we shall have to send out the rescue parties at this rate, if all our friends keep dissappearing like this.

Rita have they come to you for a cuppa, and are all in hiding from us.

Dermot
where can I look for someone like that ? he will have to be as near my age as possible. and get up and make tea for me when I am not well.
Take me for a ride on his Motorcycle.
Take me to the seaside at weekends.
Treat me to fish and chips on a friday.

That will suite me nicely.

Hello all.

I haven't seen her post for a couple of days, can someone knock on her door and see if she is alright ?

Dermot .....that's my perfect man.......where do I find him ? LOL

Dermot

Dermot Report 23 Feb 2011 14:35

THE WOMAN POEM:

Before I lay me down to sleep,
I pray for a man who's not a creep.

One who's handsome, smart, and strong.
One who loves to listen long.

One who thinks before he speaks.
One who'll call, not wait for weeks.

I pray he's rich and self-employed,
And when I spend, won't be annoyed.

Will pull out my chair and hold my hand.
Massage my feet and help me stand.

Oh, send a king to make me queen.
A man who loves to cook and clean.

I pray this man will love no other.
And relish visits with my mother.
----------------------------------------------
THE MAN POEM:

I pray for a deaf-mute nymphomaniac gymnast with
big boobs who owns a bar on a golf course,
and loves to send me hunting, fishing and drinking.

This doesn't rhyme and I don't give a curse.

(From an e-mail received today. Don't blame me!).

One of life's little mysteries.
I was fine when I went to bed so how come I woek up this morning with a sniffy nose which has got worse as the morning has gone on!
I don't know anyone with a cold!
