Stephen I bet you like me wished you had felt in need of a doctor on thursday or friday morning. what a hasell it all is. is it a cattract you have Stephen ? I have early stages of one. my sister has retna which plays up now and again.she sufferes terrible migrains.
Marilyn is your sister near Tampa Bay ? my son John went out there for his firm about 30 years ago, he worked at Tampa Bay Bank they spolied him gave him a new flat he use to watched the crocks come out and wander around . they gave him a speed boat to use and a new car. It was the time the Bridge broke up I think it was an earthquake. I phoned to find out if he was alright as Many cars went down. he was under contract for 18 month they wanted him to stay when the time was up. but he wanted to come home. they offered to pay for me to fly out three times a year to visit. He sent some lovely photos home of the Rodeo shows and his speed boat and flat, met a nice girl out there Rich as well she use to phone him nearly every night when he came home.
Rita.

Hello all.
PMSL Stephen.....I'll certainly need to get drunk in order to be any kind of a mistress !
Got my sister here today as its only 7-30 am and I have to do my power walk first.
She rents up in Tampa two hour drive from me, but she has to see her twin ,and cant stay away from me .!! LOL
So I might be back later when I have time....
Thanks for the breakfast Stevey....
EDIT....

Rita, You are not supposed to be unwell at a weekend. I had to go to the Hospital a couple of weeks ago, my right eye, the one I'm going blind in, was giving me problems. As it was the weekend I could not get in contact with my Doctor. What a bloody hassle that was. Generally I can handle my own problems and don't visit a Doctor unless it's essential. Not sleeping is going to make you feel a whole lot worse.
Pauline, If Marilyn is going to be my Mistress it would be better for her if she was drunk........Have you seen how ugly I am ?
Catherine, Hope you get some positive news soon.
Has Dermot gone Walkabout ?
Jean, Still nothing positive yet for you on Hugh Owen.

Catherine I am sorry to hear about your brother I will say aprayer for him.
well here is another who needs the doctors advice.? I have been on some tablets one of the doctors gave me 16 days ago, I started feeling dizzy, then had a dry throat could not stop drinking water then I got panic attachs and I told you about my tinitus. last night I felt like poping my clogs. I felt really bad. so I read the sheet that goes with my tablets and it gave a list f things to watch for of course I had 5 of them. and it looks like I should not have gone on these tablets. so I am stop talking them. I visited the chemist this morning and told her. I said I get paniuc attacks and my heart thumps I am not sleeping she told me to leave the tablets off and to see my doctor on Monday and tell her. My son said you dont look well Mum I said I seem to have been given the wrong tablets. why is it when these things happen its on a friday or weekend when there are no doctors you can speak too.
I was so cold when I went out. I only needed to go to the chemist and then great a loaf of bread.
dont forget pancake day this tuesday.
Marilyn did you know that Rocket you saw being launched didnt make it to the orbit

Forgot to say morning to everyone.
Hi Stephen, he's fine thanks.
We have had a lot of health problems on this thread lately haven't we?
I hope things start to pick up for everyone soon.
Stephen, how can Marilyn be the wine taster as well as the mistress? She might drop the whip if she gets a bit tight.
I'll be the wine taster, at least I won't have to fight Mo for that job.......... she doesn't drink.

Maddie, I've had those Cortisone injections and sometimes they do help. I can't take Ibuprofen so the doctor gives me Diclofenac tablets, they help a bit. What does the doctor give to Kevin?
This horrible damp weather will soon come to an end and that will probably be the best thing to ease his pain.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your brother Cath, I've lit a candle for him. It's very hard to watch someone you love suffer like that. And his young age makes it seem much worse. It's very sad, I hope he manages to fight the infection off.
My heart goes out to you.

(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?(_)?
Tea or Coffee
Porridge or Cereals, Eggs, Bacon, Sausages, Black Pudding, Hash Browns, Mushrooms. Morning Rolls, or Toast.
Morning all.
Catherine.......So sorry to read of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Maddie, Keep up the good nursing work. Kevin will be loving it I bet. Pity he can't take the Ibuprofen, I tried a few things and have found them the best. Have you tried an Infra Red heat lamp ? Has he ever had Cortizone injections to his knees?
Marilyn, I will probably need an Official Wine Taster. You up for it ?
Hope all the rest of the Friendly Thread are ok. Certainly had a good dose of troubles recently.
Weather here is dark, damp and miserable.
Keep well, keep safe.
Catch you later

Marilyn thank you for your prayers. I got called back to him at 1.30am and have just come home. My mum and other brother have spent time with him as well. I left when he fell asleep and will go back later. I think the threat of pneumonia is the problem. Will find out more when doctor has been in morning. Although I'm tired I can't sleep so will take dog out shortly as the cocks are already crowing.

Evening everyone, just popping in to say hi and then off to bed. Had a very difficult afternoon and feeling stressed out. At 1pm I had a phone call from our local Cheshire home to say that my brother was extremely unwell and could I go to him asap. He has a severe chest infection and because of his immune problems (Chronic Progressive MS) was struggling to breathe. He has in his care plan no wish to be hospitalised and placed on intravenous antibiotics etc, he is unable to swallow tablets today and is dehydrated also. I just feel heartbroken at the thought of losing him but have no desire to see him suffer nor do I want to go against his wishes. He was holding his own when I left tonight so I hope that is a good sign. He is only 41 it seems very unfair.

Maddie,
Kevin has my sympathy.
I take Ibuprofen.....helps my knees and my neck.......they creak and groan a lot. Knee cartlidge problem is a real pain (excuse the pun), and taking the weight off is about as fast a cure as you'll get. A bit of localised heat I find gives relief.
