Mo you can open the census it is not supose to go out till 27th the day after r that is the day it is meant for,. you can do it on line and keep the census yourself.
we have not had the forms in here yet. perhaps I will get mine tomorrow.?

Hi Jean I would be in top form if I could get the noise from my ear out of the way. My Doctor told me it should go but will take time as the talets the other doctor gave me was too strong and it will take a time to go. but to be honest I dont think it will. I have left the tablets off since friday and it is still as bad. I dont know how I will live with this. sissling in my ears.

Mike is feeling alittle better my daughter went and had some lunch with him today
Did you buy "South Riding " then Pat ? or do you mean to buy it. ?

Rita, we got our census forms today.
Roly spent ages filling the darned thing out, and sealed it down before I could get a copy of it. Oh darn it, I could throttle him for doing that.

I have been a busy bee today. I took the curtains down from the lounge and dining room. Washed them, dried them on the line, ironed them, and put them back up again.
Ooooh they smell lovely and fresh.
I am feeling pretty smug with myself, so I am going to make myself a nice cup of tea now, and have five minutes sit down before I start the dinner.

Dermot I like that one.

The census papers are now being deleivered my sister has received hers this morning in Hampstead near London and others in the london aera has as well.

She is coming over for the day tomorrow so I hope the weather stays as nice as it is right now warm and sunny.

Marilyn when my sister and I go abroad and send a Post card out to Martin in America we have to ask for an American Stamp. we cannot put the countries stamps on the Post Cards.

morning we have a thick frost out all the cars have been given white fur coats. but the sun is trying to some out.

I have the washing to do today. then have to phone for an appointment with the doctor. dont know when I will get one.?
My sister wants to come over for the day . Tuesday or Thursday it will depend on the doctors appointment.
It takes her about two hours to get here.

Mo I agree about Dancing on Ice I knew Denise would go after that guy jumped on the judges rattling off that she was 52 and worked long hours. she should not have taken part if she would find it hard to fit all the hours in.

1871 Census........Possibility's !!

I have narrowed it down to two....

John Gardner. b Liverpool Lancaster 1857 ...Inmate in Royal Grammar School.
John Gardner b Scotforth Lancaster . 1856 ...Servant..( My Choice)....

Rest of his siblings are with his parents in 1871.......William & Jane A Gardener.

John is in the 1861 census with mum and dad but surname is spelt Gardiner living in Carlisle but I can't find John in 1871. The rest of the family are there living in Lancaster. When I was searching a couple of days ago on Ancestry I thought I saw a John Gardner on the search results, father's name William but I can't view the census.

Rita, have you been watching the dancing on ice tonight. What a farce.
Why have two team dance offs, but the public voting still decides who should stay or go, what was the point of it.
Denice and Johnson should be in the dance of, and Denice should go.
There are a lot of GOOD skaters left, and they may get evicted, because they are not the publics favourites.
I thought it went on the skill,not the favourites. Smacks of the Strictly Dancing farce.

Maddie, you must have needed that couple of hours sleep. Enjoy your South Riding, Roly wont watch it, so if I want to see it, it means me going upstairs in the cold, and I aint that brave. lol
