Hi Everyone ...

Poor Rita....I think you said you were going to see a ENT consultant a few weeks ago
did you Rita ?
In the mean time I would go back to see your GP and tell him that you cant take any more its depressing you , maybe bring your appointment quicker .
I have had Tinnitus too not as bad as you have mentioned Rita, as I have had 15 ear operations and now and again it comes back its like an orchestra in my ears.....but my advice would be to cut out Caffeine & salt for now and get ENT consultant to give you a hearing aid as that will block most of the Tinnitus as it will make everything else around you louder from the hearing aid ....
Your medication could well be giving you that Tinnitus .....so doctors it is RITA.

Anyone else need Dr Bean ?????? LOL

I have just got up and havent had my walk yet I dont feel like it today so I'm skipping outside instead !

Shelly ....I would love some of that lamb ...hmm can smell that Mint from here ..come to think of it I cant say I have ever seen lamb in the USA .... hmm next time I go out out I'll see if i can find it.

Stevey .....I'll have the Porridge please ......thank you ..

Cath ...glad Gav is making progress

Where's our Pauline ?

Afternoon everyone.
Gav making good progress now, fully conscious and talking. I'm so relieved I could jump for joy. We have always been very close and I hate to see him suffer.
Beautiful day here sunny and WARM.
Rita i'm so sorry your ears are still bothering you, it must be dreadful and not being able to sleep must make it worse for you.
Dermot, very funny.
Hope you are all well

Hi Shelly, leg of lamb, that sounds like a real tasty lunch for you and your family, do you have room for one more?
I cant understand why meat has to be so expensive, cos the farmers dont get a good price for it, so someone is makinmg a nice profit.

Hope you enjoy your lamb Shelly.
Enjoy your day.

Morning all, frosty here this morning, but the sun is out so looks like another lovely day.
Rita, so sorry you didn't sleep, maybe you can manage a nap during the day.
Why not go back and see your GP, tell him that you need to get medication sorted as you cant put up with this any longer, it is making life miserable for you.
Like the poem Dermot, made me laugh but thinking about it a lot of it applies to me.
Stephen, thanks for breakfast, can I have scrambled egg and toast please.

Hope everyone has a good day today, enjoy whatever you are doing.
Go with God and in good health.

I'M VERY WELL THANK YOU.

There is nothing the matter with me
I’m as healthy as can be.

I have arthritis in both my knees
and when I talk, I talk with a wheeze.

My pulse is weak and my blood is thin
but I’m awfully well for the shape I’m in.

Arch supports I have for my feet
or I wouldn’t be able to be on the street.

Sleep is denied me night after night
but every morning I find I’m alright.

My memory is failing, my head’s in a spin
but I’m awfully well for the shape I’m in.

The moral is this, as my tail I unfold
that for you and for me, who are growing old.

It’s better to say I’m fine, with a grin,
then to let folks know the shape we are in.

How did I know that my youth was all spent?
well – ‘my get up and go’ just got up and went.

But I really don’t mind when I think with a grin
of all the great places my feet have been in.

Old age is golden; I’ve heard it said,
but sometimes I wonder as I get into bed.

With my ears in the drawer, my teeth in a cup,
my eyes on the table until I get up.

E’re sleep overtakes me, I say to myself?’.
‘Is there anything else I could lay on the shelf?’.

When I was young, my slippers were red,
I could kick my heels right over my head;

When I was older my slippers were blue,
but still I could dance the whole night through.

Now I am old my slippers are black,
I walk to the stove and puff my way back.

I get up each morning and dust of my wits,
and pick up the paper and read the ‘Obits’;

If my name is still missing I know I’m not dead,
so I have a good breakfast and go back to bed.

(Unknown Authur).

Rita,

What a bloody nightmare. Nothing worse than not sleeping.

I really do hope you get the medication fixed out and get a bit of peace at night.

It's terrible being up in the wee sma hours when everything is quiet. The mind can race away with crazy thoughts.

Hang in there Rita.........and give those Docs a load of verbal when you do see them.

Rita Report 8 Mar 2011 02:48

well here I am up no sleep I am having terrible trouble with my tinntius I have tried everything. but I think him upstairs is not going to help me lol
I know why people get depressed and end it all.
You would think the wrong tablets wouild not cause all this trouble..I have had a cup of tea hoping it will help me but I am still sitting here wondering what next .?

I am up before anyone else today. so I thought I would go on the computer and try and take my mind off it.
