Marilyn,
Plymouth ! Where's that ?
Do you know what he will be Rowing ?
Scull, Four or Eight ?
I hope he sticks in, rowing is the best exercise you can do, second only to swimming.
Perhaps a Rowing machine for his Christmas or Birthday Eh !
Swimming in G & T ......thought you already were afloat in it. ROFL

Hi Everyone.
Gosh Stevey if I had a welcome home party every time I came home I would be swimming in G& T ...LOL
Yes my grandson was lovely and I was so proud of him .....on Saturday I have to go and see him at his Rowing Club, his new venture joined a couple of months ago, and loving it..Now Stevey can you remember Laria bridge in Plymouth along the embankment as you enter Plymouth ? it leads to where the marines from Hooe in Plymstock reside. well that's where he does his rowing.
I'm now doing some research..
Oh Maddie well done for great news , I'll drink to that ...Cheers !!

Maddie, Good news for you. And now that you're walking on air......don't float away and leave us.........PLEASE.
Rita, What a worrying time for you and your family. Hope it all sorts itself out soon.
Pauline, I live not very far from my daughter, in the shadow of the hills you will have seen in the photos. The Ochil Hills.
Marilyn.............Thought you would have had a 'Welcome Home' Party for all your pals on the Friendly Thread. Bet your wee lad was really chuffed to bits at his concert I get really annoyed that lads like him don't get the praise and publicity they deserve. If it was left to the Press they would try and convince us that all young folk were into Drugs and Booze and Sex.
Just like we all were when we were younger. ROFL

Rita I hope they find the problem that Ryan has and manage to sort things out for him. fancy not going to the appointment you didn't have !!! It must have upset you to be told off. Hubby is still in pain with his ear and still using the Otex ear drops. Lets hope that he doesn't have an infection when he has it syringed next Monday.
Hope everyone is OK today. Not too good here though the sun was out at lunchtime, but drizzling when Little M went home.
We were woken this morning around 4:30 am by a young neighbour who had probably had too much to drink. He was curled up next to his parents house moaning and coughing, then he stumbled indoors. I hope he has a headache today as I was awake then until hubby got up and left for work. I was just worried he might have been injured or genuinely ill. But haven't seen anything today.
Have a good evening Finished another book this morning and doing some knitting just before I came online
Linda :o) XxX
PS Marilyn loved the Dutch bulbfields, my mother would like them as she went to Holland when she was young, just after the war I think

My son Mike is down in the dumps he said I am so depressed Mum I feel as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I said what a family we are. there is me with all my problems my son in Law who had the cancer op has hurt his back I wish I had a magic wand and could wave it over the family and make thing better.
My sister is doing a walk tomorrow they call it the Clerkenwell walk she said I bet it rains. to think last week we had lovely sunnyweather and now look at it.

Shelly have you been to the DENTIST yet? Marilyn bet you felt right proud of your grandson. Thanks for the email, incredible pictures of the tulip fields. My husbands aunt used to go to the Netherlands every spring to see them right up until she was in her 90's. Pat that will teach you, lol. I've done exactly that myself!! Pauline I just had a night off, a couple of ancestors driving me mad so thought I deserved a rest. Dermot thats one of my OH's favourite sayings. Dont knwow what he means by it, ha ha.

Here's a funny story. i woke up about 4.30 this morning and I felt quite awake so I thought I'd do some reading! I read for about an hour BIG MISTAKE! I overslept. I didn't wake up til gone 8am. It was a miracle that I got to work on time. Going to get some lunch and I didn't have time to make my roll.

morning all. still have this dam cold terrible night, even Vic didnt do much good. I think someone wants to get rid of all us olddies like me we are a burden on the NHS.
I told my son I have had more illness since moving from Norfolk to Surrey and they told me it was too cold for me in Norfolk come south Mother.
If I win the lotto I think I will move back. Or get a good medical privately.so I dont feel guilty at keep going to the doctors
Had an invitation from my youngest son and wife to go to dinner on Sunday mothering day. but I dont think I will be able to make that.
This weather is not looking too good the sky (where is it ? )no blue showing just grey looks like it is ready for rain.
Off to have a cup of tea now.
hope you all had a good night and enjoy your day.

Morning Jean and Stephen........... and everyone else when they get out of bed.
Lovely breakfast Jean, thank you.
Stephen, do you live near your daughter's lodge? It's a lovely area.
What month do you actually go out without a coat Pat? I put mine away a couple of weeks ago.
Hope you're feeling a little better today Rita.
Dermot's in trouble if his wife sees his post.
Mo, tell your son to make sure he reads the small print when he gets his divorce.
Shelly, the pain killers might just be taking the edge of the pain, you might still have the problem.
Hope you enjoyed the concert Marilyn.
Enjoy your few days off work Maddie.
Aww Linda, it's awful when a pet dies, we get so attached to them. We lost a cat during that horrible winter, it's very upsetting.
I think Cath got stuck up her tree again.

Morning All !
Jean, That's great news for you, hope it continues that way. Thanks for breakfast.
Rita, Nothing much to beat the Vic. You have had more than your share of illness lately.
Shelly, are you trying to start a war with your son ? ROFL.
Busy, busy, busy, My 'Handyman' skills are in big demand just now. Didn't finish at one of my daughters houses until after 10pm last night. A hurry job in between guests leaving and new ones arriving. Taking some time today to finish the tiling in my friends bathroom. 'Fluffy Paws' might just be needed to add the finishing 'touches' !!!!!!!!!!.
Maddie, the Molars are doing fine. It's the GAP that's the problem. Folk think it's a tunnel and keep trying to drive through. My wife, as usual, keeps telling me to keep my mouth shut. 'Don't smile' says she, 'You'll frighten folk'.
The birds are singing like billy oh now that spring is in the air. Lovely.
Been very dry here this last week or so and very mild. A few patches of snow still to be seen on my local hills. Still a fair amount on the more distant hills.
Have a good day ya all !
Keep safe, keep happy, keep smiling.......That's if you have all your teeth.
