Mo in Kent

Mo in Kent Report 5 Apr 2011 20:15

Hello all.
No news from Rita yet, I do hope she is o.k, and that the doctor has managed to get to see her.

As Cath said Dermot, very thought provoking.

Maddie, you deserve the break, after all the hours you put in before christmas. Enjoy yourself, and get some well earned rest.

Hi Jeniwren,me Mora. Lilly is coming along beautifully. It's so lovely when babies try talking to you, isn't it. Lilly was chuckling away to me the other day, and her mum couldn't believe it, as she had never done it before.
It's good to hear about little Scarlett starting to walk now, you will need eyes up your BTM, she will be into everything.
It sounds like you had a lovely weekend roaming the country lanes, good on you girl, thats what I say, enjoy it whilst you can.

Yes Dermot,
Life is precious.

I've just seen the man on the news stealing clothes from a Clothing bank. Whatever next!

Dermot Report 5 Apr 2011 18:04

Abortion Act (1967 - )
Think Again. * (Elizabeth Holland).

I hear you whisper, although I cannot see.
Are you deciding - no future for me.
Planning murder to end my short life?
From what I now hear, the end is in sight.

I don’t want to die before I have lived.
Give me some hope, I have so much to give.
To the childless couple, who try in vain,
They’d give me a home; you could live life again.

God gave a hand, this seed He did sow,
For some special purpose, you may never know.
If you carry on with this evil plan,
I may not live to become a woman or man.

How will you feel when my birthday comes each year,
When I’m not around, when I’m not so near?
Will you feel the pain?; will you grieve & cry?
No grave to visit & only you know why.

Please think again; don’t judge in haste.
My precious life, please do not waste.
Give me a chance to see the changing seasons
And I’m sure I could give you a million reasons.

To let me live to play my part,
I’ll let you see I have a mind & heart.

Dear God, please find me a place to hide
Until they come to their senses.
Don’t chide; just whisper softly in their ear each night.
Tell them straight; this just isn’t right.

Make them see sense before it’s too late.
Think again; I’ve got time to wait.

Afternoon friendlies,
Rita that doesn't sound too good. I wonder with all the ear trouble you've had if it could be Labrynthitis, a friend of mine suffers from that and it makes him wobbly and giddy. Hope the doctor can sort it out for you.
Marilyn I'm off next wednesday and no Stephen I'm not taking a body, lol.
Jean we usually see lots of horse drawn caravans (cant remember proper name) around the Wicklow mountains, they are beautifully painted.Scarlett sounds adorable and I bet Mo's Lilly is growing fast as well.
Hope everyone is well,

Cath xx

Oh my lord Rita, I hope the doctor turns up soon. It sounds like the tinnitus has upset the balance in your ears, and is causing you to get Vertigo symptoms.

Hi ya Pat. Are you at work today, I bet this is your lunch hour.

I've been up ages Shelly, just too busy to put the lappy on.

Shelly, what version of Firefox are you using, is it 3.6 or 4?

I've just updated mine to 4 and it's not compatible with some of the things on Norton. When I Google anything now I don't get any warnings about unsafe sites.

It's bright and sunny here but blowing a gale, not as cold as yesterday but the wind is just as strong.

Evening to everyone
Well been a busy few days.
Curry & Charity night Friday.
At Eldest daughters on Saturday with my son too.
Sunday we went to get hubby's hair cut at our son's then went for an hours walk with them with their Spaniel, and stayed for a BBQ for lunch as the weather was nice.
Today I had little M and tonight we have been to Wellington College foe a Charity Concert for the Thames Valley Hospice. It was cancelled before Christmas because of the snow !!!
It was lovely a musical evening. My nephew was playing in the school band, he plays trumpet. Their was a male singing group a female soloist, a "Glee" group only just started in September and some readings. Really enjoyable and an evening away from the TV and my computer.

Today I did some gardening and then painted the side gate.

Hope those who are unwell soon feel better.............. glad your chest is better Rita and hope the ears improve. Hubby had his syringed this afternoon the one he was worried about was fine the drops had worked, the other is now clear so good job he went.

Mo I am so disappointed that your baby Lilly never wore the cardigans you made. The things I am making are for Bulgaria, mainly hats, mitts and scarves, some jumpers too. The small things are in a box for who ever next has a baby, friends or family. Last year I had 2 babies born in a matter of weeks and both were girls. Just the mum round the corner that I know of at the moment. As she has 3 children already she probably has lots of clothes. She is due this weekend.

Try to get on in the morning.

Linda :o) XxX

Good evening everyone, hope you have all had a nice day.
Cath, Scarlett is fine, growing fast, and walking now, into everything. lol.
It is lovely travelling the roads, slow but very pleasant, with only my horse for company, she is a lovely gentle creature, I tell her all my problems and she doesn't answer back. I really enjoy it, do it most weekends during the summer.
Marilyn, never run a cafe, lol, but would quite like to, I enjoy cooking.
Enjoyed Mothers day, but must admit I used to love it more when my kids were young and made their own cards for me, I still have them after all these years.
Mo my mora, how are you and how is your little star Lilly, bet she is growing fast.
Rita, hope you are starting to feel better, dont worry about your hair for a few days, get well first.
Stephen you certainly keep busy, bet you are looking forward to the Easter holiday.
Will wish you all a good night and sweet dreams.
Angels on your pillow.

I didn't realise that school holidays start on Friday.
I'm looking forward to 21st April. The last day of work before 11 days off thanks to Easter, William and Kate and Mayday!
I'll get a lot of reading done.

Evening All !

All Mothers suitably recovered from being pampered ?

Strange weather today, Rain and wind , then sun and calm then back to rain and wind, then back to sun and calm. It's still calm......the sun has gone to bed.

Catherine,
It is just a Headstone you're carrying......not a body as well !!!!!!!!!!!! ROFL
A body is best carried in a Roof Box..........you don't get a smell.

Ok ! I agree.....I have a sick sense of humour.

Busy day again, must stop this work nonsense, it's interfering with my Leisure time. Those little jobs, the five minute ones, seem to take forever.

Lady Stephen is now on her Easter Holidays. A Lady of Leisure. Spends her day thinking up jobs for me to do. A big PLUS though......she is not a spendthrift. I'm also magic with money..... I can make it vanish.

Almost time for shower and supper.

Back later.
