Hello everyone. And Welcome George.
Just to let you know that Jeniwren (Jean) has been in contact. She started her treatment today, and at the moment is o.k. I just hope that the chemo doesn't knock her out to much.
Her scans were clear but they are still doing the radio and chemo.
I will let Jean enlighten you more when she feels up to it, bless her she's a real trooper.

Hello everyone,
I've been working my little cotton socks off :-P
I didn't even have a cup of coffee at 3pm or so. I had a got a job done :-S
I'm going to have a cup of coffee now otherwise I'll suffer from coffee deficiency.
It's been a nice sunny day and I was working and school's out for summer!
Dermot I wonder if anyone called Hugh Williams has ever won the lottery?
Rita I only really play one game on facebook. I haven't got that many people to talk to on facebook.
Going to get my coffee and read.

Lucky Hugh Williams - mentioned today on Radio Wales:-

Dec. 5, 1660, a ship sank in the Straits of Dover. Lucky man Hugh Williams was the sole survivor.

Dec. 5, 1767, another shipwreck in the same place caused 127 people to lose their lives. Once again, only Hugh Williams lived to tell the tale.

On Aug. 8, 1820, a picnic boat capsized on the Thames. According to historic records, all passengers but Hugh Williams drowned.

July 10, 1940: a German mine destroys a British ship. Two men survived: Hugh Williams and his nephew, another Hugh Williams.

It seems no one has been on the thread since 11.40 today. now is it because "Facebook "has taken all the friendlies ? or is it that work always seems to be given on here they are woking on the thread and you get a sorry notice.
I find it is happening more and more on this thread. others dont seem to be affected by the sorry notice going up.?

Morning Dermot
Agatha I hope you manage to sell your house quickly. it is a stressing job buying and selling homes. it use to really get me down. but I was lucky as I have had three house and a Bungalow on the market during my life and have had no trouble selling infact one house in Perivale Ealing and my Bungalow in Norfolk they wanted me out so they could move in both cash buyers.I moved out of the bungalow put my furniture in store and moved in with my daughter for three weeks and my sister for three weeks before I could move into my retirementt flat. the house in Perivale Ealing was a Banker so I didnt worry he wanted the house which was a victorian and he waited four months till I had found a Bungalow I wanted.
so you could be lucky a quick sell.
