There are five things that you cannot recover in life:

(1) The Stone...........after it's thrown.
(2) The Word............after it's said.
(3) The Occasion. ...after it's missed.
(4) The Time.............after it's gone.
(5) A Loved One ......after they die.

George, I forgot to tell you I like Vampires :-) I've read a lot of Vampire books and I think they're quite cute :-) I wouldn't mind my own vampire but they don't like the daylight :-(

Jean I glad about your scans. Radiotheraphy and chemo- that's a double whammy. Hope you feel better soon. <3

Dermot Report 25 Jul 2011 20:53

George - watch out particularly for PatriciaAnn for I hear she is a man-eater. She also has a liking for giving the kiss-of-life (or is it death) to Crocodiles.

Hello everyone, and welcome George.
I trust you are all well and have had a good day.
The good news is that both my scans were clear today, my back has been clear for 7 months now, 5 more scans to the end of the year and if still clear then 3 monthly scan for a year.
Breasts clear at the moment but apparently with breast cancer there is a chance of it recurring. Had radio therapy and chemo, I am feeling very sick
[result of chemo] but will be ok. and the consultant reminded me that chemo makes you open to any infection that is going around, so have to take care.
It was very comforting to know all your thoughts and good wishes were with me today, thank you.
Hasn't it been a lovely day today, very warm here.
Well I think an early night may be a good idea for me.
Hope you all have a peaceful night.
Take care and stay safe.
Jean xx
:-) :-) :-)

I cant be doing with Facebook, a few of my friends at work are on it, but it seems just to rehash what has happened at work during the day. :-P

Hi Rita, a Scot in a kilt...lol

My mate Foggs (Foggy) is also a Scot, well he keeps saying he's not because he was born in London, but seeing as everyone from his parents back to whenever are Scottish, I keep telling him he is, but he don't wear a kilt or play the bag pipes...lol.
