Morning all, hope you had a restful night.
I have been trying since 4.45 am to get into this thread, couldn't get off psge 1, kept getting the error message. I do wish GR would get their act together and sort out the problems lots of people seem to be having.
Oh dear, a real grumpy old woman aren't I.

Aquick breakfast this morning,
Hot rolls, bacon, eggs and sausage.
Tea or coffee.

Hope you all have a good day, it is warm here, but has rained during the night so a bit damp, dont think I will be doing much in the garden

Treatment went ok yesterday, but the side effects seem to be increasing so am not feeling good, BUT at least I'm alive!!!!
Take care and stay safe whatever you are doing today.
Jean xx :-) :-) :-)

He wont need to look for a job Jim Devine I read somewhere they get paid just the same even when in Prison. mind you he might not get in at the next election.
what a world we are living in all these countries going broke many are fighting others wars . so that must cost a good bit out of the purse. just shows you what ever government are in , they must all spend far too much money to get into financial trouble.?

Hi everyone,
My Monday wasn't too bad. I left my holiday request foem on my boss's desk for him to see when he comes back next week from his hols :-)
I was busy reading this morning before work because I wanted to take my book back to the library today.
I've decided that I'd spend Augst reading my own books. I've got a pile of books by the armchair and I can't really remeber what books I've got :-S
I'm halfway through eating fish and chips.
i wonder what Jim Devine will do now for a job?
Jean I hope the hospital went ok <3
I got a mini road atlas from the book book so when I go to Scotland and my other coach trips I'll know where I'm going!

Hi George....

Just got back from Hospital......all OK .

It is still rather dull here but not cold.

Dermot.......why do they release them so early ? suppose he'll do it again..hmm

I remember when my dad was a councillor many years ago he would never ever claim for a pencil and it was all voluntary work back in the 50's days , but he could have claimed for stamps ,but knowing my dad he never did .

I'm sure half of these MP'S want the job for the claimant benefits .

Edit...
Hi Stevey ......just seen your post !

Jean ...how are you xxxxxxxx

Afternoon All !

I have spent the day at my own place for a change......lots to catch up with.
There was some Ivy that need a good trimming back.....I like the Ivy but it grows like wildfire. Also managed to cut all the grass areas.....all looking nice and trim now
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Awww Marilyn,
I'm hurt......the Castle is only needing a 60 minute makeover
;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
It has a fantastic History and I know I could make it look as good as new. :-D :-D :-D :-D
I want to leave it for my family.....and preserve a bit of Scottish History.
And you can make the Drapes like you suggested.
;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)
Having a nice big glass of chilled Irn-Bru and a nice relax.

Catch you later.

Hi everybody.

It's very warm here but no sunshine, just grey sky. Hope it doesn't rain because I've got the bedding on the line.

Just waiting for my last wash-load to finish and then I'm going to pop over to my cousin's............ he only lives across the road.

Agatha, I think being small makes Oscar look cute.

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 for Jean, hope it goes well for you today.

I had a look at that hotel Pat and it looks lovely, there's some beautiful places in Scotland.

Marilyn when having a bridge made I was told to breath in and out and wriggle my toes to stop me being sick.. I think it is not that it stops you being sick just gives you something to think of so it takes your mind off having it done.

I have a filling come out of one of my teeth I had filled 6 weeks ago and it is driving me mad. I go back to the dentist next monday so I am trying to last till then.

Rita Report 1 Aug 2011 08:00

I will be thinking of you Jean hope things go well for you today. keep smiling.

George. my sister and I go to the little Cafe for a coffee when we are in Regents Park. when the flowers are out on the otherside to the entrance it is really lovely to sit there and take it all in. and its free lol.
One winter we went and the lake was frozen ( a few years ago when we had that realy bad winter ) and we still sat on the seat and watched the ducks and other birds skidding along on the ice. it is the first time I have every seen that.l we then walk over to the entrance by the Zoo sometimes we go in. my sister goes there a lot she has a yearly pass.

Morning Stephen hope you had a good weekend and have a good day.

Cath we have a lovely morning here the sun is out and the sky is clear but the forecast last night was not good for this week.

see you later

Morning All !

Bit dull and overcast here with a light drizzle of rain :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P

Jean......Grand breakfast again.
Hope all goes well for you today.

Pat......Loch Achray.....lovely spot......near to the small village of Aberfoyle and the town of Callendar. It's in the heart of the Trossachs Country.
Your Hotel is located below a hill called Ben Venue, the first hill I ever climbed way back in April 1962. You will probably visit the Woolen Mill at Kilmahog.....there you will meet.....'Hamish' a very famous Highland Bull.
He has his own Web Page....do a Google and you'll find him.

Have a good day ya all !

Keep well, keep safe, keep smiling :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hi Rita and Cath2010,

Great you both had a great weekend.
Cath, I have never been to Jersey, but I have been told its really lovely.

Rita, I enjoy going to Regents park, sometimes we have a meal in the resturant there on the inner circle, or walk up to where the London Zoo is, always a good day out with the family.
