Hello Rita,

No I don't live in Bournmouth, I live about 5 miles outside Winchester in a small village called Mitcheldever.
There is no way I could put up with all those blinking hills in Bournmouth....lolol

George :-) :-) :-)

Evening GRMarilyn and PatricaAnn,

Hope you two ladies have had a great day.

Marilyn, yep it is very hilly so we park on the seafront at Boscombe, right at the Bournmouth end.
Unfortunately I don't walk very well so there is no way I could walk up and down those hills...lolol.

Hi Pauline dont mind me my brain is suffering from Heat stroke. I could not understand what it was all about ? I even went back a few pages thinking I had missed something LOL.

Stephen must mean a castle in the sand. dont tell him I said that . this will be too far back for him to see it when he comes back.

I didnt go out after all today as I was saying I had a nose bleed and so thought I would go later on during the day. but it took sometime to stop then I had dinner and sat down and dropped off to sleep so no outing today.
My sister emailed me to say she had , had rain and her garden needed it badly all her grass was going brown. her gardener was back home in Ireland for his holidays. so she had to water the plants and grass her self. she said it made her tired and she sat down and dropped off to sleep. so we must both have been sleeping about the same time. Oh te joys of getting old.

anyone on here related to Dermot his research is for Baldderdash and Piffle ?

off now to watch some TV.

be good
Rita.

Yvonne, when I see your avatar I keep thinking it's Agatha's little dog, Oscar.

Rita, I was only kidding about Stephen going to court, he's interested in buying a rundown castle and doing it up. It'll take a lot of doing up, it'll keep him busy for a couple of years I think.

Edit: It's taken ages to get this post on here, I keep getting the Error page.

Glad you had a nice break Yvonne. You were lucky with the weather.
It's lovely here down south at the mo. :-)
Just about to get tea.
Going to spend the evening reading adn doinf a bit of ironing. My objective for August is to read of many of my books as possible.
I was walking down the road with an old parishioner from church. Tom is a very positive person and he's been widowed fro 2 years. He said you've always got to have an objective in life.
I hope Stephen has a nice break
:-)

Hi ya all

Just had a lovely week in the Lake District, we stayed just outside Windermere. Such lovely countryside, went to Keswick, Conniston and a trip up to Hadrian's Wall. OH and son went swimming in Conniston, a bit too cold for me lol. Visited my Aunt while up there.

Now catching up with all the washing and been reading through the thread. Back to work this evening.

Hope you are feeling better soon Jean

Morning all, it's really warm again but dull and overcast. Yesterday (early evening) we had torrential rain for about an hour............ I could hardly see out of the window, it was that heavy. My hubby was out running when it started, he came home looking like he'd fell in the river.

Stephen, I think you could probably take the owner of that building to court under the Trade Descriptions Act........... although I think it's called the Property Misdecriptions Act now.

Edit: I was typing this post and it just disappeared, I was nowhere near the Submit button but it was submitted.

Anyway, I was going to say to Stephen................. I'd like to see it when you've finished it, it's going to take a lot to make it look like a castle though. :-)

Jean try to get plenty of rest 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
