Agatha, I can't get my dog near water, she runs away. She doesn't like going out when it's raining!

I gave oscar a bath this morning, he's not very happy about that

I try to buy Fruit and veg from the UK when I'm in the supermarket, sometimes very dificult when tomatoes are either dutch or spanish.

Pauline, Oscar is much cleaner and whiter than my dog lol :-)

I have been and done some shopping.and noticed prices have gone up in Waitrose funny when we get the summer and fruit is plentiful it goes up in price when it is spring months and fruit comes mainly from a broad then some from Kent and Essex the price is lower.
so they can stick it up their jumper 59 p for a nectarine £1.45 for a pomigrainte the grapes that were in small baskets for one person was £1 on saturday it is just under £2 to day.
I did buy some strawberries but they had gone up a couple of pence from saturday,
The shop was half empty, so Mums may have gone on holiday or shopping elsewhere ?

George are you near Winchester Cathdral ? like you I cannot do hills either even stairs I have to be extra careful.Oh the joy of getting old.

My sister makes me laugh as when we go on holiday she always tells them her sister is elderly and has trouble walking.and she asks if they have a lift. and a walk in shower. if they are on a hill. so far we have been lucky in our accomadation.

If we are not too far away from where we are spending our holidays she gets the train and goes and has a look around. what would I do without her.

I didnt sleep well last night I dont expect many people did.

The man in the flat above me brought me two bags down this morning one of runner beans and one of french beans from his nephews allotment.
so I wont have to buy any veg for a few days.
