Oooh look Agatha's back with us hooray. Welcome home, please don't leave us again we missed ya.

George, I am lucky I have got raised flower beds, and pots with flowers in, not so far to bend down now thank goodness.
The weeds have gone beserk with the rain that fell on them, but the flowers loved it.

Marilyn, was you climbing on a chair to reach the top of the kitchen units. Silly girl, you know you should use a small ladder for that, heights dont agree with you, you giddy girl you.

Hi George .

I wondered when you were going to pop in.

Your as bad as me....

I got onto my kitchen stool today to find something on my top shelf and could'nt get back down again ..LOL
I yelled for help, Pete was in the shower....so I slowly had to take my time in getting down....oh it would have made a great photo .LOL

Think I'll get Pete to get things from the top shelf in future .

I AM BACK, and you never guess what I did, my aunt said instead of renewing my GR membership, I should join Ancestry, so I agreed as she said it was much better, well I joined for a year with the premium membershipI think it was called and then started to do my tree on there and I did'nt like it at all, so today I cancelled my Ancestry membership and they gave me a full refund, and I rejoined GR, and I am glad to be back, and am enjoying searching for ancesters again, I do not have many on my tree yet, I have them all in a refill pad, so I have decided to start adding them now before I search for more, I hope you are all OK, have I missed much?
:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Evening all,

I hope you've all had a good day today.

Done some gardening, well just tidying up really.
Cut the grass and pulled out all the weeds from the flower beds.
Felt a bit of an idiot, knelt down pulling out the weeds and had a real problem getting up again...lol. think I need a couple of good legs...lol.

Lol Pauline, no I didn't have to donate money to the charity, as I was a guest player for the night. They called me the ringer, and no I am not into bell ringing.

Is there any news from Linda yet. It's a worry when one of our friends go missing. I know that the giddiness was back, but not knowing how she is, is a worry in itself.

Enjoy your day at the market Pat, but don't do a Marilyn and Maddie and buy the whole place up.

Marilyn, holding that ladder will help to build your muscles up. You dont need bat wings when you go on holiday. ( no I am not saying you are an old bat, and nor am I saying that you could fly yourself to the destination).
I mean the horrible saggy bat wings that hang down under the arms. I hate to see them, and would have to cover my arms completely if I had them.

Hi Rita.

My son was due to go there last year, but had to cancel and the company he is going with held it over too this year. he is going to a holiday complex him his wife and two daughters and a son I dont think Becky will go next year as she will be at university..

I hope you wear a helmet when your holding the ladder while Pete is paining. LOL. my son in law was like that everything had to be just so maybe because he trained as an engineer made him that way ? He cannot do anything at the moment still getting over the big cancer operation but he is getting there its been 14 months since he had that done and 8 months since my eldest son had his kidney removed with cancer. Steve will not bebale to work again he is retired now but Mike cannot wait to get back to his job as a Parmedic but they have told him he can not do any heavy work till he gets the all clear.l

I am off to watch a bit of TV now.

Rita.

Rita,

No ladder holding ....Its all been painted on the outside.of the house..

But the lounge has to be painted next week ....then I have to hold the ladder as the ceiling is all one with the walls ,just the beams have to be avoided , I hate that job of holding the ladder as Pete takes too long to paint !! he's too much of a perfectionist :-S

My son has just come back from Turkey and loved it so too did the kids.

Pat that sounds good to get a 1/3rd off your rail fare. my sister and I renew our senior rail cards every year as it does save a bit. I get third off when I go on the train to visit her she waits for me at Waterloo and when we used the Euro star it was a bid help. but since we first brought one it goes up every year. with my sister as she has a London bus pass she is allowed to travel on the tube free but when she comes to me she get the price from Waterloo to Clapham Juction ? free and has to pay for the rest of the journey

Marilyn I beat you but 2 seconds. what have you been up to today ? standing holding the ladder for Pete. ?
I was just watching the traffic news on TV the M25 is blocked solid due to an accident this afternoon a lorry hit the centre resavation and hit a car killing someone. my family use that road to get to me . I am pleased they didnt come over today.
My youngest son 54 is off fishing somewhere for the day has days off to go fishing to use up his holidays, he is off to Turkey in a couple of weeks time.

Hi everyone,
It's the week-end. I'm off to Silverton Street Market tomorrow!
When I first saw about Stephen's holiday I thought he was joking!
I got a leaflet about a Devon and Cornwall railcard. As long as you can prove you live in Devon and Cornwall you pay £10 and get 1/3 off any trips in Devon and Cornwall. :-)
I've heard of Anna Jacobs. I had a book out from the library by her but I never got round to reading it :-0
