Hi everyone.

Marilyn, I think Shelly said she wouldn't be on here for a few weeks, well......... I think that's what she said....... although she did pop in after saying it. Hope you have a lovely day with your nephew.

Agatha, you could always put that spy thing on the 7 word story.... :-D :-D

Can you send some of that sun up here Maddie, it's dull and damp, we could do with a little bit of sunshine.

Wonder how Stephen's getting on in that boat of his.

Maybe George is secretly like James Bond marilyn and his stick turns into a machine gun and when he has rid the world of all the baddies he jumps into a sports car with a glamorous lady and makes his escape.
Morning everyone, hope you have a nice day out Marilyn and that everyone has a super sunday.
My uncle is a methodist and travels round preaching, and many years ago he was preaching about thou shalt not steal and while he was preaching someone stole his motor bike, the story made it to the US newspapers.

Maddie I have just looked on line at the Mail On Sunday and could see the riot pictures ......how frightening !!

I'm off to Shaldon today its near Teingmouth Devon my nephew & wife lives there and has invited us up for the day, lovely walks along the sea front and a good few pubs for lunch.

Shelly ......you have been AWOL :-S

George.... I hope you weren't in those riots that stick of yours wouldn't stand a chance :-S you would have needed a stick of gun powder with all those flames there .. ;-)

Hope you have a good rest day today.........

Hi Rita, PatricaAnn,and MotownGal,

Just walked back from the pub, am absolutely soaked, just had an almighty downpour....lol
Still it makes everything small nice and fresh, better than the stink from the farm up the road.

Going to make myself some cheese on toast for supper then bath and turn in, so good night everyone.

George there was me thinking it was a picture of you ? now you tell me it was Foggy i must say he looks a proper GENT.

I love going to London and wandering around. my sister and I go to all the museums, The Imperial war one is one of my favourties and Hendon Air Museum. and of course the Horse guards. so I dont get to see the shops.

Maddie my sister went to Brent cross today and said they have some more shops there now. but she misses HMV,

Do you mean you have been married 30 years Dermot ? and only got two black eyes.?
everytime I do a research on your family lines you delete and find something else. Piffle, Badlerdash, Myths and Legends now you have deleted and started again,

I wonder how our Jean is today ? we have a lot missing off the thread. at the moment.

It is my baby son's birthday tomorrow he is only 6 foot 4 inchs tall weights about 16 stone and is 54 he weighed 7 lbs 5 ozs when born so has grown a little LOL

Evening all,

Had a good day in London today, went to catch up with some friends, a really great day.

Pauline, You will have to ask old foggs why he hasn't been back on the thread...lol. he will only tell me to mind my own business....LOL :-D

Agatha, No its not the queen, she wouldn't make bread and jam sandwiches, so we don't go and see her..lol :-D

Rita, Got my sticks..lol, anyway that picture is a dead ringer for old Foggs, I am much younger than he is and better looking..lol. :-D

Hi Dermot...lol, love jokes. :-D

After being married for thirty years, a wife asked her husband to describe her.

He looked at her slowly: then said, "You're A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K."

She asks "What does all that mean?"

He said, "Adorable, Beautiful, Cute, Delightful, Elegant, Foxy, Gorgeous, Hot."

She smiled happily and said: "Oh, that's so lovely...... What about I, J, K?"

He said, "I'm Just Kidding!"

His eye is still swollen....but it will get better.

Pauline did you noticed I nicked Georges Zimmer frame? see he didnt really need it, in his photo he is walking without it.

Marilyn you need to get one of those long armed grips where you can reach and get things down without climbing .or bending

Agatha you get more fun on here than Ancestry, and they alter things on there when things become easy they change the format. I like the old way they had where when you did a census check you got the whole census and it was so much easier than it is now.

Dermot glad you enjoyed the Sidmouth Festival. I notice your research names have changed so what happened ?I dont know anyone with the name of Myth or Legends LOL I knew the Piffle and Balderdash

Have a good day all.
dont forget WDYTYA this week on Wednesday 10th J BBC1 at 9 'oclock June Brown (Dot Cotton out of East enders. )

I AM STILL AROUND. LATE THIS MORNING AS YOU CAN See???????

I went into the laundryroom to see if there was a vacancey for the washing machine as I have the dentist monday and have to call into the doctors first to collect a form. so I did the laundry his morning instead of monday. I had written my name in the book and came in to find my younest son sitting here I never expected to see him today. so I made some tea and he had a cake we chatted away inbetween I was running into the laundry to put the washing in the Dryer. he left here about 11 oclock . so I didnt log on until I did the little jobs I needed to do,.
so I have not had a chance to read back. as to whatr happened to Marilyn falling of a chair and what has happened to Linda. ?
Pleased that Agatha is still with us,.
Hope George has alovely day in London. although they might get wet weather ? it has started to rain here only spitting so far.

Hi I'm back....

AGM OK ...Pauline we have to have a management team within our complex of a few other Barns as we have our own street lighting & treatment works that we pay for, also the lane road has to be tarmac every 10yrs as the tractor from the farm uses it so much so the farmer has to pay us for using it ..Also have to have a gardener to cut the common land surrounding the Barns.

We have rules about dogs have to be on leads while passing each Barn so not to annoy other folks gardens.....then they are allowed to run riot in the fields around us ....all proper rules :-D LOL

I have only been in 2 mins and phone goes....so got my friend calling in for coffee....

Morning all

Hope you both have a good day in London George and Foggy, watch out for pickpockets - 'cos you'll never be able to run after them. Why has Foggy not been back on the thread, doesn't he know that you can't leave this thread once you've been on it? It's against our rules.

Marilyn, I didn't know you had a resident's AGM, didn't think anyone lived near you.

Pat, if you go back to bed............. that doesn't count as being first up.... :-D :-D

Maddie, just put it up on the thread if you get stuck, there's plenty of us here to look it up for you.

That goes for anyone else who needs a hand, if we can help........... we will.

Agatha, nice to see you came back, now don't go leaving us again.

Mo, why the ringer??? I'm confused! :-S :-S

Where's Rita, Dermot and Cath this morning?

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 for Jean.

Maddie....fire away for any help on Ancestry :-D
I thought your Freedom Pass was worn out at 93yrs !!!!!!!!!!
My friend being the same age is also gutted at having to wait as her hubby has his and when they board the bus with his bus pass his smirk irritates her ..LOL that's life I guess.

Going to a meeting this morning.....resident's AGM.

So I'm having an early bath....
