HOORAY I GOT IN AT LAST
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tried all day yesterday, kept getting the error message,
so I gave up.
Tried again for an hour this morning, same message.
My computer was nearly taking flying lessons lol.

Hope everyone is safe and well, wonder how much longer the riots will go on.
Too late for breakfast now so
tea, coffee and toast for everyone.

Am off for treatment now, but will HOPEFULLY get back on later.
Take care and stay safe.
Jean xx :-) :-) :-)

I dont think it is the size of this thread. I think it is just GR programming I found I got on easy this morning.

I am reading about called "Miss Purdy's Class" by Annie Murry this is the second book I have read of hers and have enjoyed the first one " Family of Women "
This one I am reading I cried while reading it last night (Hows that for a Whozz " )It is about 1936 she leaves a good home to become a school tacher in Birmingham she has 52 children in her class and the poverty of them is heartbreaking I know it is only a story but this must have happened, I brought the book from a charity shop, for £1.50.

The sky is grey today. I want to go out to the shops and get my magazines and some bits of shopping I need to renew my lottery it ran out last night.
other than that I dont have a lot to do. need tow rite some birthday cards out.
so have a good day.

Rita
xx

Maddie, your avatar was missing as well a few minutes ago. Hows things up your way now?
Agatha, what paper backs did you buy. Pat will be rushing into Smiths tomorrow, to get her share of books.
I popped into our local charity shop, and bought six books today, for two pounds.
Thanks for the reminder about WDYTYA tonight Rita, I will have to watch it,I like June Brown, and her past looks like it's going to be interesting.

My Neighbour said this morning that she was worried that the trouble would spread here, I told her there was no way trouble would start in our little village with only the post office to loot, it seems to be frightening people though.
Went up town this morning as its market day, smiths were selling paperbacks buy one get one for a £1, so I got four.

If water cannon & plastic bullets were 'good enough' for the Northern Irish & succeeded in their purpose, then I don't see any problem using them in mainland UK when circumstances warrant.

Those circumstances have existed for a few nights now. Enough pussy-footing!

USA has advised its citizens to stay away from the UK for now.

I never thought I'd hear such a statement about our country.
