Hi All,
Rita Thanks for thinking about me ....I have just posted on Dizzi's thread after you...LOL I did mention that the Iodine feels warm when they inject it, I have had several of them. Its the dam MRI scan that I get panicky about......what a big baby I am, Pete had to come in with me the last time.
I have a bed awaiting for me tomorrow I think the doctor might assume I'm going to kick off big time LOL Well I will if they don't knock me out :-S I did suggest a tray of G&T'S or two or three bottles of plonk !! that'll do the trick .
George we are about the same age.....but not telling you exactly ..I want you to think I'm still a chick !!
:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Marilyn like you I hate those MRI machines the last one I had they allowed my sister to sit with me she had to remove any metal or gold even her watch. but I was so pleased she stayed with me.
I dont like the CAT scans I have every three months it is the idione injection they do that make me feel ill. anyway love I will be thinking of you.
shame you didnt see our stevie.
George I could be your mother a child mum lol.not Foggy though he is nearer my age. I am like that when out I sit and then walk then sit I look for seats so I know where to make for. its annoying when your legs tired and you see a seat and make for it. you cannot run( too old )and smeone beats you to it. you feel like having acuss till you see they are as old or older than you. Mo I have put so much weight on due mostly to my steiroids but I feel embrassed when I see great big ladies in tight trousers or short shorts and tops that show a good deal of waistline and they stroll around. also I hate to see women in white trousers and you can see right through them not a nice sight. Hello Agatha and Linda. I have done all my washing and shopping refilled the freezer tomorrow I have the gas boiler man coming to service the boiler. no time given just due to viisit you on 16th August. It has got very overcast here. it was lovely y till hour ago then we got a slight wind now we have a grey sky.

Afternoon Friendlies It's been a funny sort of day. Really nice to start with then clouded up but has come to nothing and is still overcast, but quite warm. Started to hang the wallpaper this morning in the bedroom, hope might get it finished tomorrow when hubby is off, it's only on one wall. Then we need to choose carpet and curtains. Never ending and all to tidy it up, not even a room that is used very often. But it was dated and needed doing. I have a huge pile of ironing Ugh Maybe this evening? Just washed the kitchen floor so that is OK Have been doing some more research
Have a nice afternoon everyone
Linda :-) <3

I know what you mean Mo, a large lady walks past my home with her dog every morning, wearing tight cycling shorts that are so stretched you can see through them, I dont even think she has a cycle. Sounds like you had a fun day out George. Hope the MRI scan goes OK Marilyn

Oh Oh, how come they let George and Foggy into monkey world, they have enough cheeky chimps in there, without adding another two.lol It's nice to hear you had a good day the five of you. I love watching the antics of mokeys, they are fascinating and funny.
Good luck with the MRI scan tomorrow Marilyn. I have to admit, just looking at the machine gave me the willies, but fortunately my head was left outside of the machine. Even then, I was getting impatient waiting for it to be over.
I hope everyone is enjoying the lovely sunshine today. I met up with my friends this morning, for coffee, and to put the world to rights. It was glorious sitting in the sun, and watching the world and his wife pass by. Cor you do see some sights though. I do wonder why larger ladies, think they can get away with walking around town, in a pair of shorts and skimpy top, showing all the extra flab off. Not a pleasant sight. Thats o.k, if you are on holiday, or down on the beach, where everyone is wearing something similar, but not in a shopping precinct. Or am I being snobby now, I do hope not, but if I come across that way, then I will shut my cakehole. ;-)

Morning all,
Lovely sunny day again, hope you all are having the same.
Rita, I am much younger than the old boy, I'm a spring chicken at 66, old Foggs is in his 70s. We had a great day yesterday, there was 5 of us, lots of laughing at the antics some of the monkey got up to. Walked a little then had a sit down then walk some more, so it was ok.
LOL Matilyn, there were three ladies with us yesterday, they all thought the monkeys were more handsome than old Foggs :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Good luck with your MRI scan.
George :-) :-) :-) :-) ;-) ;-)

Morning Al,
Yes I'm gutted about the murders as well,, apparently the man that did the stabbings also stabbed him self and is hospitalized , I hope he makes a good recovery and spends the rest of his days locked up with the keys thrown away.
Bless those dear little kids....
On a lighter note.......No Stevey at the marina I was there for 4hrs sat on deck drinking my fine red wine.........but the funny thing was I spilled my wine all over my ( linen trousers this is for Maddie )..LOL but my friends hubby took me down the gully to change into HIS pair of spare trousers!! We put mine on the ropes to dry ..........Oh I didn't want Stevey to see me now anyway !! .at least my trousers were brown so when they dried they looked same as before :-D.
Tomorrow morning I'm going to hospital for a MRI scan , but because I'm silly frightened about these MRI tubes as I call them they are going to sedate me :-S I panic just looking at the darn thing !
George.......I hope that's not where you take your lady's friends to Monkey world .. :-S.. She'll wish you behind bars !! LOL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To Jean .. :-D
Morning everyone, a bright and sunny start to the day :-D I'm still reeling at the sad news from Jersey. I just can;t believe anybody could hurt little children like that, the Jersey police are now saying it was 3 children, 2 women and 1 man who died. Heartbreaking. No work today so will probably take grandchildren to the park this afternoon for some fun and frolics :-D
Hope all the friendlies are well, <3 <3 <3
Evening all, I am shocked and appalled at the news of the 6 people stabbed to death in Jersey this afternoon. 2 of them were little children. What on earth is the world coming to. Incidents of murder are rare in the Islands but unheard of on this scale. My heart goes out to them all.
Hi Everyone Got all the washing dry and the bed changed, still watering the tomatoes in the greenhouse as it gets really hot in there, when the sun shines. Done some paperwork and lots of searches on the Crocker Family. Their tree is filling out nicely.
Rita my Lee's are from Hayes Hillingdon and Buckland Buckinghamshire. But I do have an Absolom !!!
Sleep well my friends. Hubby on his last late shift tomorrow then he is off for 3 days.
Mo that was nice seeing your little one. they do grow quickly when you dont see them for a while. 7 months how times has flown..
Maddie you have a rest mate you need it having to work on a lovely day like today.
Pat I finished that book Miss Purdys Class I was suprised the way it ended it left you up in the clouds. did she marry Daniel ?and what about little Joey.? I took the book over to the charity shop yesterday. I am reading one now called Our Yanks by Margaret Mayhew. it sounds just like the film YANKS.
Hi Yvonne how are things with you ?have you been out on the horse today ? I wonder if Jean has been out with hers, ?
Pat many of the Pubs now do meals as they do better having meals in their pubs. they get more people go in.
Marilyn that would be a shock to Stephen if you bumped into him. still you never know. people pop up in strange places.
Hello George and Foggy incase I miss you on the board today.
Rita.
Good evening everyone. I hope you have all had a glorious day, as we have here in Kent. Beautiful sunshine, and warmth to go with it, lovely.
Ha Marilyn, once again you will be away for most of B.B,you will have to find yourself an internet cafe,and keep checking in for updates. Still if you will keep having these holidays, what else can you expect. I don't mind taking your place, if you would rather stay here and watch it. lol it's a hard life aint it.
You seem to having more success with buyers for your house than my friend did Agatha. She had it on the market for 18 months, and only had three viewers, so she took it off the market. The house she was after, was sold in the mean time, and she was sooo dissapointed, that she says she will stay where she is now, till they carry her out in a wooden box.
We went to see our little minx yesterday. She has grown so much, and is now in age 12/18 month clothes, for saying she is just 7 months old. She's going to be a big girl I think. I'm sure that when they makes clothes these days, they skimp on the material, so that parents have to buy clothes more often.
No george or Foggy tonight, I bet they are both galavanting somewhere nice.
