Morning All,

I'm a bit late but I have made two dishes of lasagne, peeled new potatoes as the skin on these are not as they should be .
Made an Apple & Rhubarb crumble also bought some profiteroles to have with ice cream & a flan with cream.

If any complaints they will be knocked off their chairs ..LOL

Rita....the problem now is that you have no rights any more about shading light into your property., but maybe if that neighbour has added something extra in the planning then I too would be down the planning Office pronto .

Poor Maddie off to work again.....when are you going to be a pensioner ? :-S

Shelly.....bet little legs got squeezed to bits when he came home :-D ...did he bring his nana a stick of rock ? :-D

Its going to be a scorcher today .....hmm so they say I'm still waiting !!

I suddenly had a lot of energy dont know where it came from and I didnt take tablets to get it ?

I prepared my dinner. wrote two letters , made the bed, sorted the washing our for tomorrow. had my shower cleaned the bathroom . all spick and span in there at the moment.
Then my daughter telephoned me I was on the telephone for hour., she paid LOL.

It appears her neightbour who have been there 18 months put in plans for an attic extension and which they were told they could have. then they build an extenstion down stairs with a big glass patio doors and two big windows which overlooks her rooms she said the builders have been working on it the plans the people altered put windows in when there were not suppose to. they intend letting the rooms out. she is going to the planning office on Monday about it. .
people dont seem to care about their neighbours these days ? in the old days a surveyor would appear during a building product to check every so often that the plans and work was being done as the plans had stated,

I have no energy this morning, Have you ever been like that, ? lay in bed staring at the ceiling and thinking all sorts of things trying to find the get up and go. I did eventually but I am taking things so easy.

I am going to have another cup of tea and a bit of toast before I shower.

Mo thats sounds as if you enjoyed the curled sandwiches..still you went that must have been something to the couple.

George hope you get your flight for your holiday sorted. do you good to get away. I think everyone needs a break some people dont go away at all.

Linda it isnt too bad here in Woking at the moment although we do have a cloudy sky.

Marilyn your holidays are geting nearer. soon your be sailing across the sea LOL.
I think Stephen must have got lost in the boat of his or has landed on a desserted island and enjoying himself .

Hi George, I wouldn't have minded if they had had the blessing done. But the people getting married in the church, were complete strangers to us. Talk about looking like right idiots. Fortunately we found the church hall at the back of the church, and thats where they were holding the celebration,(well if you could call it a celebration). If there were twenty people attending, it would have surprised me.
The meal was delicious though, we just didn't fancy the curled up sandwiches, and the sausages on sticks etc. lol

Good evening everyone.
Well, we arrived at the church this afternoon, expecting the blessing, and a new bride and groom were inside, getting married. lol
The celebration started at 3.00p.m, and we got there at 3.15, and left at 5.00 p.m, and went and had a meal out. Cor boring or what. I have to admit I don't know how they have been together this long, talk about chalk and cheese. He is a tiny little man, and she is built like a brick *hit House, oops sorry about that, but it's true.

Marilyn, are you going to be away for your birthday.?

I can't believe a friend of mine. She was supposed to be going on holiday to Ibiza yesterday, with her son. The evening before, she packed her cases, put her tickets etc, where she knew she could find them, checked the passports, and guess what, her sons ran out in April. So on Wednesday, she has to go up to London, to renew the passport. She could not get an appointment before that. She has booked new flights for thursday, and will go to the original hotel, and finish off the rest of the holiday. Dopey mare, fancy not checking before the day before the flight, to see if everything was in order.

Marilyn, not the kind of program I like, but I hope you enjoy it.

I am just waiting for a pizza, cant be bothered to cook tonight :-D

Yeah, I know they are, used to have one.LOL. and she was high maintenance, as soon as the big wages stopped coming in through my accident she left.

I am a happy chappy today, got my new mobile, ( washed the other one, forgot to check the pockets when I washed my Jeans, had a full go in the machine on hot ) :-S :-S
Do you know, mobiles stop working when you wash them in a washing machine...lol.
And I am off on my hols. son is trying to book flights today.

Once again trying to get on this site has been a nightmare. I dont know what else to do. I have emailed and they have not even replied which is unusually.

This afternoon I sat down to watch a couple of TV films why do they film these in the dark, you see outlines but who the hell they are you have no idea.?
the other film was dark but you did get light now and again. I wondered if
when they were making these films they had a blackout LOL

I was reading about the women who is coming into East Enders. Polly Perkins is coming in as Dot Cottons sister Rose she was in Eldorado which was axed 18 years ago.
I wonder how long she will last.?

I have made my lasagne or should I say 2 of them as I have invited another two from the family 8in total .

Been sitting in the garden just gazing at the field seeing the pheasants that will be no longer be there in November (The Shooting Season) and spotted a couple of baby bunnies with white tails ...LOL

G & T went down a treat. Pete had a beer with nibbles .

Venison is quite nice Maddie we have a pub here that's does a good venison meal.
I have never cooked it myself , but eaten it.

Back home
Well I enjoyed the shopping. I got some things for myself too !!! A new gypsy skirt, half price, been watching out for one for a few summers and they went out of fashion. So I had it, couldn't pass it over. Some toiletries and bits for my next holiday and oh a lovely leather weekend bag. 60% off so a bargain.
I hope hubby thinks so too.
My daughter got all her things and spent a bit but not tooo much. So she is happy.

Only disappointment was I did the washing before we went out and hung it out. Well it tpped. Huge thunder clouds and puddles so big on our way home. Well needless to say the washing is dripping on the line though the sun is shinning now !!!
