It's hard to look at old photos of people we've lost, Mo, brings back memories. Sad to think they've gone.
Speaking of photos, can we have a proper one of you George? Stephen was brave enough to put a real photo of himself up as his avatar for a while.
Told you I was nosey!!!
Edit: can't be Popeye, Mo, no pipe!!

Pauline I thought Georges avatar was of Popeye the sailor man. I'm glad you asked the question of George, as I didn't want to appear nosey. No I am not saying you are nosey love. oh god I drop myself in it all the time dont I.
I wonder if Maddie is home from work yet. I know she is changing her working hours, but she didnt say from what to what.

LOL Cath, your description of yourself made me chuckle.
I forgot to tell you one thing about the 25th anniversary celebration, ( well I think I did ) I was called over to look at a C.D they had of their wedding day, and there was I, in a longer length white skirt, gold silk blouse, dancing away with my friends. I couldn't believe how slim I looked, but dancing next to me,was a friend of mine who died before her 40th birthday. It was so upsetting for me, to see Jackie there in the flesh, knowing that she was now gone.
Welcome home Pat, so nice to hear you had a good time, even though it was exhausting.
Sending out an S.O.S for Stephen, get the search parties organised folks. Thank god we haven't heard of any boating accidents, so at least we can assume he's safe. Coommeee back Stephen, all is forgiven.
How unusual for a garden center to be closed on a monday Linda. Perhaps you should have gone to B+ *'s, they were open, and you could have got the paint from there. But at least this way, you got a little time to relax and not over do things, knowing what a workaholic you are. lol

You must be getting better now George because you're walking without your zimmer frame................ :-D :-D
I think you're looking slightly younger as well.
Linda, if I'd known you had the iron out - I'd have shoved mine down the cyber hatch.
Pat, are you off to the gym after you've eaten those fish and chips?
I'm sick of looking at chips, my son thinks he has to have chips every time we go to the beach. He won't let us pass a chip bar.

Linda, yes that place is rekn own for it s roses. My sister thought of it the other week when she was travelling to Salisbury on the train. They have walled gardens there. The fact that I pack a lot in the week-end is due to my brother in law. I'm usually shattered by the end of the day! Going to have my fish and chips now :-)

Good to see Pauline and Pat back from their Hols. Cath I have been to South Petherton as I had a penfriend when my youngest was a baby over 20 years ago and we did a house swap. They came up to Windsor and we went to Langport. They now live in Parrott Works near Martock.
Pat I love Mottisfont Abbey and was talking about there just this afternoon. Hubby and I go there usually once a year. I was a nice place to take the little ones as the grounds are lovely and all the rooms are on the ground floor. It is wheelchair friendly too. It is supposed to be beautiful in June when the roses are out and perfume the air so it is open some evenings too.
Did the ironing earlier and went to try to get some special paint for my chest of drawers, but the shop was closed....... all day Mondays in a garden centre too. Unbelievable. So thats a job I won't get done in the rain that is forecast for tomorrow.
Have a nice evening all
Linda :o) XxX

George, Marilyn beat me to it............ I'm just as nosey as she is and I was waiting for you coming on so I could ask about your accident. Sounds like it was something bad.
Rita, there's a big difference in a footballer's wage now, they get an obscene amount of money.
Steeeeeeeeeeephen, get back here now, don't make us come and look for you.

Yvoone I did my washing this morning two lots all dry as it went through the comercial dryer we have on the estate. so it doesnt matter if it rains or not some times I put washing out on the rotary dryer.
Pauline my husband was very sporty He did lots while in the army for the team. he also played football for two teams when he came out of the army. he had trials for Queens Park Rangers but the money was so bad we could never have lived on that. he played for a team called Momacks from Hackney Marshes he also played for Wembley.Football club we were always traveliing around with the team to other places .. He was a good diver as well and his swimming he won no end of medals the three children took after him for swimming for their schools and Middlesex.I swim but I am not very good. I played Tennis, Basket Ball and Hockey thats was as far as I went I did run in the school races but I did it only for the school it was not something I liked doing.
I have made a note of your ancestors place of birth in Somerset I will look through my magazine and see if the name comes up sometimes they do. mine came from MELLS in Somerset.
George didnt you go out today in this good weather? tomorrow I am dreading storms I hate.
I think Pauline we will have to get up a witches broom party up to to look for that Stephen like a witches possey.lets go before th storm though

Cath, have you been to the beautician, you look like a different person? Love the avatar.
Yvonne, we posted at the same time but then I got locked out, just kept getting the Error message. Sounds like you had a nice day yesterday, always nice to catch up with family.
Shelly, you've been wasting paper again, sneaking on the thread in the early hours of the morning and getting up to no good.
Great photos of your son camping in the lounge, at least you know he's safe. He did look cosy though.
