Thank god....shattered, tired, and just about not feeling myself !! LOL

Been doing Halloween stuff in Sons house all week ,but forgot about the kids knocking on my door tonight ....managed to find some sweets, hubby not happy that I have put all his boiled sweets in the basket for the kids tonight..!

Now whats all this about the votes for our Ollie ? Think I'll have to get cracking and do some ,I looked at some of them babies and was shocked that some have got thousands !! LOL

Lady I do hope he pleads guilty , surely he could do no other ??
I hope your mum is OK as it only brings back memories to hear of the court case coming due.
I remember my sisters Hubby was killed by a lorry and it took 5yrs before it went to court for her compensation.

You dont get the results of the x factor voting till tomorrow that Louie is really getting on my nerves what ever is wrong with the man.he sticks up for his own on the show but all the others he has not a good word to say about them. he should not be on there as a judge.

I have voted again this evening and Olly has now got 228 votes. so it is going up..
well Marilyn why bother to come home when you are off again next week. you have itchie feet as my Gran would have said I hope you have a good journey out to the States. my nephew is coming home for two weeks for christmas then he going off to Italy to see his fathers sister and some of his uncles.he said it is easer than going to see them from Washington where he lives. although he was born in New York.

Keep your sweets for the carol singers.each year we have a group of guides and brownies come around to our litte estate singing carols they carry laterns and they sing really lovely they come whatever the weather many bringing their parents. we are all over 65 some as old as 99 so you can see how much this means to us.
I once offered £5 towards their kitty they refused it thanked me but said they loved coming.. The Guider told me it was at their suggestion they wanted to come and have come everysince.
so sweets and a small cake are given to them.
Many a tear is shred when I listen to them .

The weather here is terrible this morning heavy rain and windy the gardeners came to do the lawns and take away all the leaves on friday it is worse now they are covered in leaves from the five great ash tree's and the others that we are not allowed to cut down we have to get permission from the council to have that done.
I am at the moment defrosting my fridge/freezer it was so thick with ice and I needed to use all the stuff up first. that left I have put into a ice cool bag. so next week I will be out getting food for the freezer.

Hi everyone, didn't have time to come on here yesterday (not that any of you missed me!), but I did do 3 quick votes for our Olly. I've only manage one so far today, but I'll get another couple in before the end of the day.

Rita, I bet you look forward to those carol singers, what a lovely thing for them to do.

Linda, we didn't get an kids round for Halloween either. That's the second year we've had no halloweenies. We used to get loads, the door bell used to ring every 15 minutes for about 2 hours. Last year it was cold, so I thought it was the weather, but it was mild and dry last night. I've got a huge bowl of sweets to eat now!

Marilyn, how long are you away for this time?

I've just had a look and Shelly wasn't on yesterday either.

Mo, we've got heavy rain and strong winds as well, doesn't look like it's going to let up either.

Wedding planning and trying to assess costs and source supliers. Oh my head hurts.

More cross stitch this afternoon, must finish the invites then start the place names.

Hope the weather is better for others. It's been horrible here. and not much better now. Hubby just gone to work

my fridge /.freezer is nearly defrosted I keep hearing the block of ice from the grid falling down and it makes me jump. it has taken a good while for it to defrost this time I starrted at 9 and it is now 2 oclock another hour should see it finished.

Rita have you tried putting washing up bowls of hot water to help speed it up? I find this helps.

Horrid job so we try to by frost free now if we can. But the one that came with the kitchen isn't so we have to keep an eye on it. Mind remember everything defrosted when we were on holiday back in June. Luckily it didn't leak everywhere.

Rita when I was in the brownies and guides, a long time ago, we used to team up with the church choir and go round our village carol singing, the money collected went to various charities.

I'm on my own today OH is at work and son started weekend job today
