You still writing your graves out Shelly?

I'll get some cream soda for you on Monday when I get the gateaux. Think I'll get a chocolate gateau and a strawberry one. I'm making a trifle, and tiramasu as well. Lots of sweet sticky things!!

Thanks for the cuppa Eeyore, I've just come home and it's cold and wet outside, a hot drink will go down well.

Guess What ????

Been in town and I did not buy any clothes ..!!!!!!!!!

Now am I ill or what ?

I must be living on another planet today ......but I did buy some Christmas Cards, really nice ones for special friends .

And had my hair cut, I needed to look 10yrs younger..LOL

Funny thing happened on the way home in the bus, my sister and I were talking about how good my hairdresser was, and I said I wish she left it a bit longer at the back........A voice sounded behind me and said I think your hair looks lovely at the back !! it was a bloke ..!!! and he was about 20yrs younger than me..so you could say I scored TODAY ....LOL
he was not bad looking either......OH memories.....

Now I'm ready for the party Pauline....I'll eat anything that's not sweet.
because I cant ...

Rita is about I saw her on another thread this morning,at least I think it was her.
Getting dinner ready....back later.

Marilyn, I think you need a lie down, I'm worried about you. Can't believe you went shopping and didn't buy clothes.

I'll make some savoury flans and pies for you, can you still drink wine?

Mo, if you want a jelly fight you'll have to play in the garden - no mess allowed in my house! I've got plenty of balloons, you can play with them in the garden as well.......LOL

Well, Marilyn looks 10 years younger with her new haircut and Mo looks too young for a flu jab, so I'd better look into getting some botox before the party.

Shelly, if Olly keeps growing at that rate, you wont be able to lift him by Christmas.

(_)? (**)? [_] |_]? \_/? (_)? (_)? (**)? [_] |_]? \_/? (_)? (_)?

We must all be very busy at the moment, nobody on all eveining yesterday!!

Well I have finally spoken to my parents after 4 months of silence from them. My father walked out of here after all his heart problems in May as he felt I wasn't doing enough to care for them. Well we are going to see their new flat today and out for lunch. Please pray for me that it all goes OK and he doesn't say anything nasty again. He is a very difficult man.

Will be back on later

Hope Rita is OK as it is an unhappy annioversary today for her.

Take care everyone

Linda :o) XxX

Linda, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you today. Parents can sometimes be more difficult than children. I hope your dad's realised you couldn't have done any more for him. I'll be thinking of you.

Morning, I really must try to visit you all more often.
I have been researching 3 certs for my mums cousin & am very nearly there.

Linda ~ family can say hurtful things sometimes, I don't think they realise that one day could change everything. It's good that you were the one to make the first move by talking again.

Morning All
I am low this morning I know it will pass but after 20 years 0f ;losing my husband John and 38 years of marriage it still comes hard to me.
I was angry at the time why him ? but everyone in the same situation must feel the same.
so later on in the morning when I calm down I might be able to go out for a while.

I have read yourr remarks on the thread and have really enjoyed reading them.

see you all later.
Love Rita .

Hi Everyone,

Got pills, just a walking chemist now..!!

Rita , I know its hard when yo have lost your loved one,and like you say a lot of others have too, my eldest sister lost her hubby 17yrs ago, and she still gets depressed, at the moment she is like you going down that depressing path, only yesterday she rang me in a terrible state, the trouble is I'm 60miles away from her ...so its not like I can drop everything and pop in for a cuppa.
But tomorrow she will be hopefully a bit better after our chat, I'm going to take her away with me to look after the other grandchildren next weekend, that will take her mind off of her thoughts......

So tomorrow will be another day Rita ,at least you have us to talk to,and we will listen to you always..X X
