My son is going to lose his Saturday job... he is gutted... i feel so sorry for all those losing their jobs

I still have a coat i bought at C&A how sad is that? I remember going straight from new years eve partys a little worse for wear to queue for thier wonderfull sales, in party frock in freezing cold snow, didnt feel the cold then.Lin

Karrie hiya xx I agree about the job losses. Yes, Woolies have gradually lost their way in recent years, but you would have thought that they would have had ample resources to get by, Yet another empire without foundations I fear As for C & A lol I think I was the man from C & A ... Remember those adverts ?

Speaking at work this morning quite a few of us said we had not been in Wollies for a year or more. Remember I used to visit at least once a week when the children were young, so perhaps it is our fault.

last few times ive been to woolworths not been able to get what I want. They should have updated years ago!

Theyre partly to blame.....the kids clothes are overpriced and fall to bits after a few washes. My son got a small bag of pick n mix from there the other day, it came to nearly £4 lol. 4 quid for a pick n mix! Think they've taken it for granted that they were safe, that they'd always have customers.
