I am human-I just associate it with other things so I don't enjoy it.
Perhaps I need Christmas Therapy?

As a child it was a time of magic...only since I grew up did I learn how hard my parents worked to make it a special time. Money was tight but there was always a tree, baubles and lights. Presents and plenty to eat.
Now as an adult it is a time of stress and an awful lot of effort but still a special time to be amongst family and friends whilst remembering those less fortunate

When I was a child it meant getting new things, clothes and a few toys, which we never had through the year as we were a poor (financially only) family.

Now it means far less as we are lucky to be in contact with the family all the year round and we regularly get together for any or no good reason.

We never go over the top with presents as we always have to budget, but we have fun anyway:))

Don't drink.

Tis the season to get trampled to death in shopping centres & then a week after see everything you've bought half priced.
