I'm now watching the opposite side to them, and just gonna keep it going til 10pm when the council said the noise is allowed to go on til.

I must admit it is tempting to make louder noises (I know I would be) but you dont really want to aggrevate the situation as these things can get really out of hand and it may endanger your property and yourself & family.

Dont dismiss the council for support they have an obligation to cut out noise nuisance and could be a good middleman between you and your neighbour to resolve the issue.

Take a step back, count to ten (or 20 if needed) and go about things calmly and logically. The more you rise to the problem the worse your neighbours may become.

Best of Luck

Don't speak to them. He was in the army apparently and I'm sure he still thinks he is.

Do little noises -now and again -just enough to be annoying for a while and then stop. Then do it again - sometimes a little noise can be just as annoying as a loud one. (like a tap dripping).

Rub down a piece of skirting board so it sounds like mice or rats and then go and ask them if they have heard the rat -lol bet they will turn the sound down trying to listen to where it is!

Good luck.

They wanted a meet on their terms, but I said no. The council got involved when they shouldn't have as they had bought their house, but he thinks he's bought the whole street. He jumped down my throat one night when I was at my gate, and when I called the police to report it, I had to wait days for them to come, but when my daughter told him to back off, he reported that and they came right away. I can't win whatever I do.
They don't get much noise from me as I'm here on my own.

Start drilling or hammering until they get the message!!

Alternatively, play very loud music at 2 in the morning.

Presumebly, though, you have tried the rational route as you sound very p**sed off.

GOT THEIR TELLY BLARING NOW. I'VE HAD SOUND RECORDING IN FOR NEARLY THREE WEEKS, BUT THE FRIGGIN MACHINE ISN'T WORKING PROPERLY. IT'S DUE TO BE COLLECTED TOMORROW, BUT I TOLD THEM WHEN THEY FITTED IT THAT I THOUGHT THEY WERE IN THE KNOW AS THE LAST TIME IT WAS DUE TO BE FITTED, THEY SHUT UP. IT COULDN'T BE DONE AS I WAS IN HOSPITAL.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO COS THE POLICE WON'T GET INVOLVED.
