Well I suppose the right man lost last night, but I wish him well in his life with his little daughter, hes such a lovely man. Diana really isnt well and judging by last night she couldnt cope emotionally if she did win. Alexandra is really good but not different enough so Im going with JLS, Ruth and Rachael for final.

Apparently Chris Moyles Radio One has been campaigning on his morning show to keep Daniel In !!.....I think that he just wants to make a point to Cowell and Co that the public vote has nothing to do with 'Talent'.

Daniel should have gone really. he is a nice fellow but is out of his depth now.

If it had gone to the public vote, then I'm sure that Ruth would've gone...all along, he has told Ruth that she is the weaker singer among the girls, yet he has had nothing but praise for Laura,,,,even calling her 'The Voice'....He knows that she is far more a threat to his act, whereas, we can all see Ruth going in the next week or two.

I agree Julie. I think it was in retaliation for what Cheryl said about not turning JLS into another Westlife.
The wrong 2 were in the sing off. It should have been Daniel and Rachel. And Daniel should have gone.

I reckon JLS might just win!

I think Louis was wrong, he should of said Ruth then it would of gone back to the public vote

Haribo

Haribo Report 9 Nov 2008 13:35

What about last nights shock exit? phew...
So obvious that Louis voted off the strongest competition for his boy band.

She sounds like she has half of her mouth zipped up, can anyone understand what she's saying err 'singing'..I can only pick out a few words here and there.

I think Daniel and Ruth will be the next two to go.

Diane is crap, she should loose that 'hic' at the end of her lines Drives me mad what with that and her hands. She should sing 'You need hands' lol

Before this years X- Factor started I could have sworn that I read somewhere that they were going to cut out the sob stories. There was so much tears on last years show that people really started to complain, what about the poor youngsters who do not have a sob story?..are they at a disadvantage, I think so. There will always be people who's vote is dependant on the sob story and not the singing.

I heard that Laura is high in the betting stakes to win.I don`t know who I prefer . Agree with Liz about Simon`s comments re Rachel deserving a break.- not good role model for youngsters. I like Alexandra and good for her trying a second time, Ros xx

I thought Scott was too immature to cope with all the pressure and was not surprised he went out. Daniel has a lovely voice but it is not commercial enough.
Diana is a bit too sugar sweet for my liking although she has a certain little girl unspoilt attraction Eoghan I like and think he could be commercial, but i actually thought, rather than the pop star field he should be aiming for musical comedy. This week his personality shone through which I think, is why he went through and, of course as far as the voting public, he appeals to the Grannies among us. Alexandra, Ruth and Laura all have great voices. Rachel has a good blues voice but her attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Austin and the boy group vary from week to week. This week I thought Austin was good, he used the opportunity to 'work' the audience and came over as an entertainer.

Daniel may go out next, but he gets the sympathy vote every time he mentions his wife who died.

And I do get aggravated by the bickering that goes on between Simon and Louie.

I think they will be being very careful about conspiracies after the uproar over previous fixings of programmes etc.

I was a bit sad for Scott and thought he just couldn't keep his head up cos he didn't want people to see him cry!

That Diana and her hand, drove me nuts, and why do they constantly let her go on with her hair looking as if she has just got up, all tangled and rough, it doesn't have any shine to it. And the bare foot thing, lol....
I also wish the wardrobe people would put Eoghan in a coloured shirt, he looks so pale and pasty in those light or white ones.
Simon niggled me the other day saying he thought Rachel deserved to do well cos she had been through so much, well hey let's reward someone for doing drugs, ending up in jail and getting some of your kids taken from you, and then going on to have several more children, where are the dads in all this?

One mistake, maybe two as in having children and ending up a single parent, but she has had five I think and just seems to have two with her now.

What about rewarding people who have tried to stay on the straight and narrow and done their best to be responsible. Doesn't show much incentive to youngsters if Simon Cowell thinks Rachel deserves a break! Wonder how many breaks she has been given already?

My daughter likes her. She likes her voice and her style. So if they are appealing to the young they have got a market already.

Her voice reminds me a bit of Corinne Bailey Rae but the latter is much better.

I quite like Diana at the moment but the hand thing is annoying...think that's why they gave her a swing hoping she'd hold onto it. LOL.

I like Austin & Laura too.

I think Rachel could be a good singer but her attitude bugs me a great deal.

CATHKIN

CATHKIN Report 26 Oct 2008 23:14

Diana reminds me of Bjork

Haribo

Haribo Report 26 Oct 2008 23:14

Yeah, she is different, as everyone keeps saying, but that doesn't mean that she could sustain a 'singing' career with THAT voice. Wouldn't want to listen to a whole album of her's..now, the others, can see any of them selling records.

LancsLass

LancsLass Report 26 Oct 2008 23:09

I quite like her at the moment, but she will wear thin!! And what is it with the hand thing? If someone tied it behind her could she still sing?

I though Rachel (rough diamond) & Laura (Bolton Lass) were brilliant.

Haribo Report 26 Oct 2008 23:04

Is it just me or does anyone else think that 'little lost girl' voiced Diana is over-rated?
To me, she is nowhere near as good as the other girls, she's out of their league..well, I think so anyway.
