Bulk Buy....I'v started buying huge packs/boxes of washing powder, toilet roll, tea bags, sack of potatoes etc. Not only does it save energy and time doing a reduced weekly shop it really does save you ££££££££. Of course the initial outlay is pricey, but if you can find a way to do it, you'll never go back. |

If you live alone and can't use big packs of things before they go off, either cook up one big meal from the items if applicable and freeze in portions, or share the pack with another single friend and pay half each of cheaper price. |

Well, I would suggest admittance to hospital but even though mum has been on her own for nearly two weeks she's probably spending more because she's too knackered and fed up to cook so we've eaten out more. That said, if you go to morrisons you can have two cheese toastie & chips meals with 2 free drinks for £4. That's not bad...£2 each. |

Mac , you are so funny. A friend of ours came to the house the other day , I was out , hubby gave her a cuppa and a Kit -Kat , she asked for another one as she was hungry . She `s training to be a Dietician. I think that`s a cheek asking for another biscuit !!! |

Don't be a carer.Fifty quid a week and don't automatically qualify for a lot of the concessions other people on benefits do. |

Save your £2 coins. I don't get many of those but I stack them up on the shelf in the bedroom and don't spend them ... soon adds up. No idea what I'll spend it on but hopefully chocolate or alcohol or something equally necessary - LOL! |

Don't use expensive face cleansers to remove make-up, use Aqueos Cream. An enormous tub is about £2-50. I've been usng it for years as I'm allergic to lanolin and got fed up with searching for and buying expensive cleansers that didn't have lanolin, only to find after a while, my face erupting with dry skin and scabs - to find they'd 'improved' the stuff and added lanolin!!! |
