Hi

I don't know what I'd have been called if I had been a boy but my mam always said I was going to be called Jennifer and then she took one look at me when I was born and called me Linda - never sure what to make of that one!

Well, considering my two brother's names - I'm glad I was a girl!! However I was named after my gran's sister who died aged 4, so going on that theory I would have been either Arthur or Edwin - one a brother of grans who died at a few days old, the other one was killed in the war.

My mum, as my dad was abroad when I was born, only chose 2 names, so mine would have been the same whether female or male

thankfully I was born female, dread to think the stick I would have taken in school, considering where I came from lol

My parents wanted to call me either Peter or Heather but my Nan decided I was a girl called Susan long before I was born! Everyone was so used to calling the bump Susan that when I was eventually born the name stuck.
I like the name but wish it hadn't been quite so popular for a few years.

My Dad did eventually end up with two sons-in-law called Peter so that was odd.
