Being raised near to the sea, you will know exactly how it feels to while away an hour or two :) I shall be passing Lee front this evening and will think of you, Tony and the poodle as I pass it :):)

There is certainly something nice about having that sea breeze blowing in the face, I love the beach on those windswept days :):)

Hi Colin, I am not really easily stressed I am pleased to say. But to relax I read or make cards, garden or walk. I do envy you your proximity to the beach, I would love to walk there regularly. When we were first married and still living in Fareham, we used to go down to Lee in the evenings after Tony came home from work, to walk on the beach. I remember one evening when we took our young miniature poodle down for the fist time. she chased a seagull, th gull rose over the waves, the dog didn't!!! She looked so surprised!

Colin
Hayleys stitchwork is beautiful. As a fellow stitcher I know how hard these are. Mainly doing cards for family since I found genealogy !!! But I have made a Natvity picture for this Christmas, quite pleased with that.

Gardening seems to be my personal stress buster

Tina :):)

The ones you see are done in acrylics, they are then sprayed over with protective car laquer to go outside.

LOL Colin, I would have quite understood what you meant. Does Hayley do watercolour painting by any chance or acrylics?

Ann of GG you have a very dirty mind! lol

I will expand the story - my donkey insisted in running off into the sea while all the other little darlinks on their well behaved donkeys looked on laughing! lol

Colin, thank you for sharing that. Serious respect for OH they are brilliant. My neighbour across the road is a serious cross stitcher and loves cats & big cats and she has quite a few framed and hanging up. I especially like the two white wolves? and the pack in the moonlight brilliant.

Hayley is very talented indeed - love the canal boat artwork.

I am still doing the Millenium Sampler some 8 years on lol.

All I can see is me with my legs being flung up and down bouncing around and the reins all over the place and being thwacked by branch trees. LOL

Jean thats wonderful to be able to ride a horse. Unfortunately they and me have never got on, had a bad experience on the beach with donkey once and vowed never to get on another one. lol

Hi Tina :):)

Ive never seen her do that one, Yet that is, just the image of it makes you think of how complicated it might be :)

Here is a few of Hayleys that she has completed in the past, these ones she kept around the house :)
