I can't say that I understand what is happening with the problems with board names which has been mentioned. Does this now mean that I cannot be Danger Sprout this year? Then revert to my usual name?

I am not sure, I think it is OK to change your community name but those with problems may have changed their account names. I have to admit I didn't fully understand Julie's thread about the problem.

I understood from some that when they tried to revert back it says the name already exists and you can't have it .....

But - i do see folk changing their names every day and then going back to the original - so there is a way to do it but i don't know how

I see mention of Community Name - but i don't know which one we can change without risky losing our identity ..... xxx

Right i just went and had a quick 'fiddle' lol

If you change your name in Personal Details - what you had before cannot be reverted to (thank goodness for the 'back' button lolol)

So it seems if you want to change for a seasonal or character name you do so under the Community section

Ive tried for a month just to get Joan G back without anything else no way they say not allowed, but will let me have Joang im really confused ...

Joan i can't have my real christian name in my Personal Details at all now lol

Cos it wasn't made clear when it all changed - I put my board name in the 'christian name' field, thinking i would show as 'Anita' otherwise, when i posted, so i am perpetually McAnne in Kent lolol

I can't lose my twiddly bits cos Hayley gave them to me and she will sulk!

Anne think im going to stay like this, its the nearest i can get to my own name the G is the initial for my surname thats why i put it on cause there is a few Joans..

I think you can still change your community nae and change back but it wont accept anything but letters and numbers. No twiddly bits.

I changed mine in 'Forename' so my forename is Kim from Sandhurst, wasn't I meant to to it that way?

tsk......I will not sulk...but you can c & p you normal board name then and keep it on word then re add it when you need too...
