I thought there were some interesting bits, especially researching Naval history, apart from that not a lot.

Being a bit "catty" now, does he have only one suit and shirt?

Sorry Claire but the words were in both welsh and english ...the bits that read name, address along the top in the pre-printed boxes...but you can always look tomorrow ...which is so good coz some of it is so quick

it was the marriage of Ada and Roger which I noticed

I think Llewellyn was actually his dad's middle name.

Claire (who's birth cert is written in English)

I saw that his fathers name was double barreled ...and it sounds welsh to me now ....!

Was hoping for direct line or more about his double barrelled name and it was all about two people really, both sailors, I agree, waste of time, should have watched second part of Place of Execution instead or do a bit more on my tree.

Missed about the first three minutes - anyone know why there seemed to be no mention at all of the double barrelled surname, or indeed of either of its barrels. Everything went back on the maternal side I think........?

I think he carefully avoided all the poor bits of the family. I've got a few Wilks' in my tree and they were from Shoreditch. Didn't manage to clock the address on his Wilks' certificate - maybe that was deliberate camera avoidance? I have my suspicions. Think he's mainly working class but not prepared to own up to it. LOL

The plot thickens. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a vanishing trollope of a great grandma too (just like me) and they wouldn't want to air that story!

Just been watching this and was very disappointed and bored, had been looking forward to it and felt let down... Anyone else feel this way?
