Things are more out in the open now and hopefully it will be the start of new beginnings all round.

All are welcome to add but please if we can discuss ways forward rather then have a mass cage rage incident.

Hi Everyone :)

My apologies for not responding sooner, my internets is up and down at the moment.

Thank you to all who have responded to the thread. Hopefully Genes themselves might have a look and see how people feel about the situation.

For those of us who see the decline in the boards I am glad I am not alone.

Its true many people have left and continue not to use the fun side of the site for fear of becoming involved unwittenly or because they no longer know what is what, more so if they havent been here for a while.

Even those who have been here a while are confused, I know I am sometimes:)

Of course the site has always had one or two tiffs and ups and downs over the time its been running. I for one can see frustrations as I am sure many of you can see them also. But this has become much worse then anything this site has ever seen in the past and can only decline further if members let it do so.

I dont expect an answer to this question but how many people who are friends of friends are sometimes embarrased of how the people they associate with act on occassions and think to themselves " I really want no part of this" or shy away from the boards because they are afraid to say to a friend "Leave me out of this please, im embarrased" Im sure ive known that feeling.

I believe more and more people want the site to trot along amongst their own friends and others without worrying what is going to happen next.

Of course its hard to bite ones tounge on occassions, Im human to but by allowing things to escalate and continue all it will succeed in is making new members afraid to use the boards or shutting the boards down altogether.

Those who like to argue, why not start your own thread, have a good blow out on it and stop adding messages just to wind up people or deliberately to have a decent thread or people removed , Then hopefully come back refreshed

Sorry folks... but who has been suspended, and why?
I am never here when these things happen. Is that a good idea or a bad thing?
I have to admit that i get quite annoyed when some people are suspended for nothing more than , criticising GR, or asking a question that they don't want to answer.
Not right, we are members and have a right to ask and have our questions answered respectfully.

But to get back to the beginning .... who has been suspended and what for?

About three years ago we used to have a lot of laughs and a lot of silly threads - laughing but no nastiness - a great number of those have either left or do not post anymore sad really.

TBH I thought this was normality for this place. And it is no different to most other website discussion boards. In fact it is a darned site less hostile than quite a few.

You'll find that if anyone reports a post ,,they wont confess,,,cowards..

It's really sad to see the way this board has gone downhill lately, so many people disappearing by getting banned or falling out with folk, or getting fed up with the unpleasantness here.

We are all equal in our right to post and respond but there is no need to be spiteful and unkind. There is still a lot of love and support goes on behind the scenes a lot of the time, and it would be great if it could be the same on the threads.

I too miss out on most of the aggro and have no idea who has been whooshed or banned. It gets very lonely on my own at nights now - come back all the night owls lol
