Oh Joy, I don't like them at all. My 32 year old niece had one done a few months back and now wants another. We all keep saying to her "why"?

Tallulah Report 18 Sep 2008 15:49

Oh Joy, I dislike tattoo's aswell, but what can you do? My nephew has one on his back, Jesus on the cross, it covers' his entire back, I am a religious person, so it's not the subject matter that I object to, just the fact it is so large, and unsightly.

What is it of Joy and where is it? That does seem to be a very small gap between tats. Hope he's thought it through and doesn't live to regret them.

I haven't got one yet.........though I haven't ruled out having a tiny one in a couple of years xx

When I met the OH he had 2 (he was in the Army). After 40 years I have gotten used to them and they have faded sssssssoooooooo much now.
I must admit as a `silversurfer` I have always wanted a small butterfly tattoo on my ankle but have not plucked up the courage. Maybe your grandson will stop having them done now or does he want more?

I hate them, I'm sorry to anyone who has them and loves them.... but I don't.
My husband has been all around the world in the Merchant Navy, for 20 years, and still does not have a tattoo.
They have become so popular just now haven't they?
I keep thinking, what are they going to look like when their bodies get old and saggy??
What will their lovely tattoos look like stretched and droopy?? ;-0)

Still, I suppose they have to do what they have to do.

and when they fade
they look even worse

SilverLady

SilverLady Report 18 Sep 2008 17:50

I agree with you Joy that they look awful as they fade, the colour goes and the patterns do not look fresh any more. (But I still love him faded tattoos and all.LOL).
