*stands well back*

I saw Freddie and the Dreamers at the Coventry Hippodrome when they were on the same bill as some proper bands.

I can't get that little dance he did out of my head. it's haunted me for years.

*tongue in cheek* What was wrong with Freddie and the Dreamers?
A bit daft at times but better than some of the c**p you get now.

I give myself plenty of "REDit" - pmsl - ask Sm'uggers!

Nite now, cos my carers have arrived to put me to bed, kicking and screaming (they are always like that, but you just can't get the help, can you?)

Jac, you give yourself too little credit!

It really is happy music, and in fact, musically speaking, it's quite passable. Or so I'm told.

Freddie was from Manchester, btw.

Correct - Freddie and the Dreamers - short daft chap with specs! we (being teenagers in the 1960's) must have been deprived of mother's milk or something to listen to that drivel. ))))

I have a Sagittarian partner.........he is my hero......as he is not in the least bit scared of spiders.....I have heard him scream like a girl at the sight of a snake though.............lol

Uggers Report 16 Sep 2008 22:57

Me too, Amanda. They're more evil than Virgo partners.

I'm relieved to hear it, Janey

I only scream frenziedly at spiders.

Jac -- check the vids at youtube, it will all come back to you. ;)

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 16 Sep 2008 22:55

I did not scream frenziedly at anything.

Not even at the Rolling Stones when I saw them twice in one weekend, but by then I was, hm, 20. And supplementing the concert experience a little.

Jac Report 16 Sep 2008 22:55

Freddie and the Dreamers I think sang that - small daft guy with specs (or was that me?)

Oh, you don't want to miss that one.

With Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello and, apparently, Juliette Mills.

Uggers

Uggers Report 16 Sep 2008 22:52

And you people screamed frenziedly at this??

I`m telling you now...
I`m telling you right away
I`ll be staying for many a day
I`m in love with you now

I`m telling you now
I`ll say what you wanna hear
I`ll be telling you for many a year
I`m in love with you now

Do you think I`m fooling
When I say I love you (I love you)...
Maybe you`ll believe me
When I`m finally through
Through, through, through

I`m telling you now
I know it`s been said before
Say you love me and I will be sure
I`m in love with you now

I`m telling you now
I`m telling you right away
I`ll be staying for many a day
I`m in love with you now

Do you think I`m fooling
When I say I love you (I love you)
Maybe you`ll believe me
When I`m finally through
Through, through, through.....

I`m telling you now
I know it`s been said before
Say you love me and I will be sure
I`m in love with you now
I`m in love with you now
I`m telling you now
