Joy, Valium,Tina, Deanna,Mary and Maz,

Thankyou so very much for your good wishes and care for me. I have missed being here, have read but just not felt well enough to post.

Yes Tina, I am getting thrush, something I feel my body was a bit overloaded with to begin with, May I ask what you had to keep taking tham for?

Deanna, I feel for your hubbie. I have never really had problems with my chest but after 2 courses of antibiotics Im still not well. I burst into tears with OH last night, Just have no energy and want to sleep.Im trying to go to work because im beginning with all new students but may have to be signed off.

Mary, i hope we catch up too.Hope you and Paul are ok.

Thanks Maz, Im going to look out Wills old inhalers. I cant understand why Im not fighting it, my Mum and Dad { bless them, they got me a tonic} think Ive given in to years of stress and my body is telling me i must have a rest. Still got probs with my daughter, i felt so low with it last night.

Love to you and THANKS,

Caz xxxx

Caz, My husband lives with this.
It is an ongoing thing, and most of the doctors don't give him a large enough dose of antibiotics.
He has got to the point where he will not go back until the next time, and even then he will wait until he is REALLY ILL.
If your medication does not work, don't leave it, go back and tell your doctor.
How will he know if you don't tell him?
Hope you get well soon.
Deanna X

Hiya Caz,
I hope your stronger tabs soon start to work, its the pits taking antibiotics. I end up with thrush because of the high doses given to me.

Take great care of yourself

Hiya Joy,

Thanks for asking. I have been put on a stronger antibiotic. It seems to have eased a little, but not much. I dont get ill often but this has really knocked me, I think my immune system needs a boost.

If the anti-biotics don,t work for me, steroids are the answer - as mentioned overleaf tiny 6 a day prednisolone, taken all at once.
All sounds a trifle asthmatic to me, possibly caused by an earlier infection.
(goose grease, or the thought of it, should make you get better more quickly).
Happy days

Don't forget the vick on your soles of your feet and socks on, before going to bed, it helps ease coughs so could help a bit Caz.
Hope you feel better soon,

You need to get some steroid tablets from doctors.the tiny ones, you take 6 every morning for 5 days. It soon clears up after that.
I've had this, it's horrible. Am suffering from bad cough myself at moment, hope to get to doctors on monday.
