I thought they managed to get someone with copies or something, sure I saw that on a post before, just wondering now if something else has happened.

Moral..always backup..and also..keep items safe by storing on separate drive to operating system..even if its a separate partition.

CRIPES_A_MIGHTY Report 6 Sep 2008 10:43

Even if you have recovered your laptop..it worth a try..has helped me in the past..its just that it does take some time to run.
But worth it if it saves you priceless pics..

Try..

Even though you have reset your laptop...you may still be able to recover some of the photos.
It does take time to run..but you may be able to save some.

Files are only truely gone once they are over written..till then you may still be able to recover them.

I know it may sound obvious, but its highly likely that guests at your wedding took photos

Mail all of them to ask if they have any photos can they send them via email to you. Then create a free photobox account, load them all on there...enhance them using their own tools, then send off for them via the site

i use photobox all the time & they are brilliant 7 come back beautifully packaged.

Malc
Sorry to hear about your photo's but if you take your puter into a computer repair shop, he may be able to find them on your hard drive. You can delete and you can take your puter back to orignal settings but you can never compleatly get rid of what you have put on the hard drive. Think about it the police do it all the time. Hope this helps you.

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THIS.

IF I PUT ON HERE HOW I FELT ABOUT THESE KIND OF PEOPLE, I WOULD BE BANNED FOR LIFE.

DID ANYONE ELSE TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR HAPPY DAY?

SINCERELY HOPE YOU CAN OBTAIN SOME FROM SOMEONE.

EARLIER THIS WEEK I KEPT GETTING A MESSAGE UP STATING IT WAS FROM AOL AND HAD EXE ON IT.

Hi Malc and Jackie

I had a thread on GR a couple of days ago about these e-mails, I wouldn't open them because it didn't have a name of who had sent the card..
I posted a message on GR and was told they did contain a virus and never to open anything with exe on it, this did have that on it.

So sorry you have lost all you wedding pictures, these people who send these e-mails must really have something wrong with them to do this kind of thing.

My friend deleted hers off camera by mistake in June.
She has taken her camera card in and company is trying to get her photos off the card. even though she had taken more photos on top of them.
Don't know if special company or just asda.
