Have a lovely time.

I was stationed in London in the 50's but everything that was on was too expensive for the likes of me. Went to see the Pylon and the amusements at Battersea. Remember that? My favourite place was Hammersmith Palais.

No it was the motor show - I think!

Actually, I tell a lie. Last December, I came back from Africa and was catching the train back home from Kings X. I got straight to Kings X on the Gatwick shuttle, then stood outsiode for a smoke. Inside 15 minutes I had been approached by 7 different bits of pond life who all wanted 'change for a cup of tea'.

By the third one, I was getting into the game. I said I hadn't any change but did they want some gear instead. The eyes lit up before realisation dawned in their addled minds.

By number seven I was just giving them a look and they never got past the 'Excuse me' stage.

I was never so pleased than when I heard 'The next stop is Newcastle Central Station'.

:-)

Hiya Kaz

Yes i knew about it back in May but then i had my fall and with my hand in plaster i didn't fancy trudging up there like that so i waited - had to bite the bullet in the end or i would have missed it again lol

Can't take pics by all accounts which is a bit of a shame but they normally ban it at things like that
