I really don't think hedgehog fleas migrate to domestic animals - could be wrong, but I don't think so. Also your cat wouldn't be able to hurt it - the other way round maybe, but extremely unlikely. I would love to have a hedgehog or two in my garden to gobble up all the slugs - they really are cute little creatures

STRAY

the kids are having your eyes out

they had me searching for it last night

while you were out

as for the fleas spray your cat once a week

Stray i you wrap it in clay and bake means the spines come off easily

Well there is an old Celtic song, guaranteed to have the hedgehogs running for the hills, Stray. But you have to do it on the night of the Full Moon and wear lots of feathers and stuff....*doubtfully...is that the sort of thing you would do? lol

Not read all posts.but if it is around in the day...there is something wrong with it.
If you phone the rspca they will probably take it.

you could be right marion but last time we rang the rspca for a hedghog they told em to put a box over it over night wit a hole in if it wanted to get out and they would come out tomorow if it hadnt gone

the next day it was dead i was furioussss if they had come out when i rang they might have been able to save it

A few years ago I saw one running along the road, so I put a rug over it,picked it up and put it in the car.
The RSPCA came and got it, they brought it back to me months later.
It had, had fleas and maggots on it, poor thing. They treated it though.
I'd give them a ring anyway.
They like cat food and bananas if you want to feed it lol.Not milk though as like cats ,it's bad for them.

we have a hedgehog rescue centre here in Cardiff - maybe you have one too!! and as has been said, unusual to see them in the daytime - must be poorly
