LOL Eldrick! subtle as ever!!

Intrestin comment, Eldrick re the divi card.......
wen we mooved up ere in ''75 we woz avin our milk n bread eggs an fings delivered by the co-op milkman.. we mayde gud use of the divi book coz also we would shop in the co-op.
however the bakery folded......our kids groo up an moved out.....and the milk deliveries stopped and we transferred to anuvver milky...so our purchases dwindled down, as thay say...... we still av the divi book, but dont 'spose there is much innit now cos we now donate our divi to the charity in favour, at the times of purchase......

Personally speaking I find greenhouses far from boring.........I'm having problems with my Peppers :(

I am the happy owner of a co-op dividend card as well.......very useful in the current economic climate.

What an interesting week, eh! How much fun can a person take! The lottery of life is an amazing thing. One day you are on top of the world and chatting away like a hyperactive parrot on speed, the next you’re banned! Not to worry, it gave me time to take stock of the threads………

Nice to see a resurgence of the Chav Txt Spk department, and good to see they have moved on to the Inuit version. At leest I rekkuns lats wotitiz. Itz ded gud innit, bruvs and sisses. That reminds me, I’ve got some sparkly bits of a charm bracelet and 15 metres of Burberry cloth up on ebay, if anyone’s interested. Oh, and a nearly new crushed velvet shell suit, light curry stains only. I’ve had it in my store, keeping it for a rainy day.

Wot next. Oh yes, Paul Gadd’s world tour. Some very imaginative mutilatory concepts there. Highly competitive in the outdoing one another for cruelty stakes! But look at the film of him – he’s as thin as a beanstalk, isn’t he. He wouldn’t last 2 seconds.

Moving swiftly on, the press – newspapers I hasten to add, not ITV who, I believe, are the very bestest TV station in the world according to a recent survey- took a slating over their coverage of a certain person and his return from a foreign holiday. But it was agreed that it was a good idea for the papers to stalk him wherever he went, to keep us, the tax paying public, informed so that we can…err…we can…well, we just can.

There’s been a couple of recipe threads as well. What I want to know is this. Is stork better than butter for making pie crusts? Whilst shopping at the co-op this afternoon, I found that they were handing out these store cards, like a dividend card. Anyone got one? Are they any use?

What else has there been that is worthy of a headline…..let me see…the perennial ailment threads. My advice is not to stall calling the doc – that’s what they get paid for. Or a homeopath if you really want to waste your money 

So, that’s about it, really, unless you’re interested in my greenhouse, where the stalks of my tomato plants are withering away. But that’s boring, innit.

Bye!
(probably for good now :-)
