I have to admit I have had veal - once - in France and would never have eaten it had I known at the time what it was. I wouldn't eat dog, but have eaten horse and donkey - again in France. Love snails. Otherwise I will try anything - even 'natural' fois gras - where the geese stuff themselves!!
Had a doner kebab once - that was enough! Love tripe :o) Used to kill, pluck & eat my own ducks.
I only like fresh pheasant - not the 'hung' stuff one of the advantages of being an ag lab - the boss gave us a brace every Christmas)
I have never had frogs legs - but would try them.
As for truffle, my daughter uses it instead of mushrooms, as none of the family like the texture of mushrooms, but like the flavour. Doesn't take a lot to create the same taste!! It keeps well in the freezer.

I always have great admiration for people who order spaghetti in a restaurant, even when their clothes don't match the sauce!

I have eaten it at home, but never in public!

Had tripe when a kid, my aunty up in Edinburgh used to do it, cooked for 8 hrs. in milk & onions. Could'nt eat it it now.
Used to have everything as a kid, pheasant rabbit the lot.
Never had lobster as I dare'nt order it as I don't know how to eat it. Most likely would like it as I love crab & shell fish. Tried cavier & hated it, a salty mess. UURGG.

I have no idea what exactly kebab meat is?? Have had shish kebab but not a doner. I love all shellfish, lobster is lovely, but a hell of a job picking out the meat. Mussels cooked from live in a drop of wine and garlic are delicious. Oysters are lovely and taste of the sea.

Have eaten snails, if it wasn't for the garlic they'd be tasteless! Frogs taste like slightly fishy chicken as does crocodile.

Have never tried tripe, or truffles, and am not a big fan of oily fish.

We had fillet steak, salad tossed in lemon juice and olive oil, and boiled potatoes tossed in butter and parsley for dinner.

**wonder's what Stray eats as she doesn't seem to like many things!!** ;)))

Ooh, I love duck, Pheasant, lobster, any shell fish, liver, rabbit (although not had any for years). Have tried tripe when i was a child, can't remember if I liked it or not, don't fancy it now. Like caviare although can't afford it, any fish, octopus, squid.
Never had a kebab and wont, don't think i have had artichoke.

Have tried snails but not bothered one way or another.

I've eaten pheasant, pigeon, hare and rabbit - during the war when meat was rationed and my Dad used to shoot them - only drawback was the little row of lead pellets on the side of your plate after every meal
